Finally managed to make my character on Hyperion. c:
I can't even play the beta since my family apparently can't pay the internet bill on time. It'd be less irritating if I knew ahead of time that I would have no internet, but nope.

The launcher stopped downloading with 59 minutes left. I'm afraid to restart it because I don't want to start downloading everything from the beginning.
If I restart the launcher, will it only download the things I need?

Nevermind all is working
From what I heard the other day no, its just one massive 7.5 GB file that extracts itself once its downloaded, its how FFXIV updates worked, unlike WoW and other MMOs where it updates files, FFXIV just pumps one massive file through and if the updater fucks up, you have to redownload, there should be a torrent of the patch around somewhere.
So being the massive faggot i am, i went into combat and heard my character unleash this god awefull shriek. so i deleted it and remade with hopefully a better voice. open back up Hyperion ._.

I'm thinking about just starting a new character on Hyperion. Once I'm able to reserve 90 days or whatever, I can transfer my main over to Hyperion and play on both.
So, PGL is 20, LNC is 15, Miner is almost 20, then I just need to get Leatherworking, Blacksmithing and goldsmithing to 20 huzzah for leveling like a boss!
