Welp I can't seem to play now. Error 10102 every time I try to connect to the servers. Hopefully this is resolved soon so I can grind to level 15 and continue my White Mage jobs.

It helps if you enjoy the final fantasy series too, but I'd give it a shot. Having friends to play with can really make any game fun to play, least in my experience.

But it all comes down to how you approach the game. As for exploration: The game is fucking beautiful and the landscapes are gorgeous. Getting tired of questing? Go craft! Feeling competitive? Go play some PvP. Want to squish some mobs and get good loot? Do a couple of Dungeon runs. (Finding a party is really easy thanks to the Duty Finder, which is kind of a Matchmaking system for Dungeons) And that you have friends, who play it helps a lot too :D The game is 25 Euros (and I think 30 bucks) so it's not too bad of a price and even if you don't like it, you can stop after your free month.

So how do i learn fishing? someone told me it was in limsa or somewhere, and that id need to keep doing story quests. which sucks if its true. i wanna fish asap

this pop cap stuff is really dumb, just let me create a new character and sit in the queue stop trying to urge me to join a different that's downright stupid, i want to play with people i know

The 'world is full' nonsense is really frustrating. Why not just add a queue system? How do I know when it's NOT full?

They're staggering logins, so my best guess is yes, login has a queue cap currently, getting the world full is the staggering bit coming into play?

Anyone having problems retrieving EU and US server stuff in game? All I can get is JP servers.

Finally made it to level 15. Now I can continue my white mage stuff.

Haven't been able to even get to the character select screen for hours now. SE stop being bad at servers please.

Almost finished with my level 30 CNJ quest and I decided to load up FRAPs for cutscene screenshots (because for some reason we can't take screenshots during them) and as soon as it loads, FFXIV crashes. Now I can't get back in because the server is full :(
