it's not entirely about cost, more about me not wanting to pay money for a video game every month that I may or may not play very casually depending on real life business.
if you buy it you get the first month free so you don't have to set up a subscription which is nice
one of the main reasons I stopped playing eve was because I was just burning dosh every month for something I played like 6 hours a week, and sometimes a whole month of not playing. it was almost as useless as my gym membership.

The whole passive skill training is its biggest strength and weakness. i realised after like 8 months being able to fly a dreadnought wouldn't just magically make me want to login and play.
I also sent you a friend request dai, but sadly i have work in like 20 mins and if i stay logged in i'll end up missing my bus :v:

Yeah seriously like others have said, come join on Hyperion the great part is for dungeons we can scale down if we're above the level for it, so we can allways come back and help and still get Exp for it.

I haven't really played many Final Fantasy games, but this looks pretty interesting. Is it worth the price? The last big MMO I played was Tera Online, but I burned out of that after I hit the level cap and there was nobody really to party with (and I a goddamn healer :v:).
Now, looking at the past couple of pages, I recognize alot of people here, so it'd probably be much easier for me to find people to play with, I just want to hear what you guys think of the game now :v:
Server problems aside, I've been having a lot of fun with it, but there currently really isn't much that makes it different from other MMO's, it helps that I enjoy the dialogue from the quests and the world itself, crafting is fun too.
I haven't seen much of the story or any late game gameplay, so I don't know if it gets better or worse.
Also, it's a small thing for me, but recent MMO's kept splitting people up in zones when they became too full, I hate that, seeing a small town filled with other players really gives a good feeling, that you know you're in an MMO, glad FFXIV gets that right.
