I personally think it is. You also have the advantage of if you pay for 3 months before the revamped engine (version 2.0) comes out you'll get lifetime reduced subscription prices.
The game has definitely improved a lot and is now in a state which is actually really fun.
Is there any trial atm? I'm really curious on it now, played the beta.

Not sure about the discount, but there definitely will be a free trial around when 2.0 is released.

I was hoping that 2.0 would come out within the next month before I go back to university but given that they're still saying "Coming Soon" it looks like I'll have to wait until Christmas.

alright so now that i've bought i say a few things. this is from someone who hasnt even been ingame yet
1: why does alt-tabbing make u crash every time
2: the audio stutters in the opening cutscene, sound every second, no sound every other second
3: why cant i choose install path
4: i had to make a new acc on my computer just for the game to start patching (admittedly i couldve saved time and just said "dont use UPNP or w/e it is" in the config
5: why the fuck am i paying for character slots, i got 30 days for free and then i have to pay for a fucking character slot come on. i read up on that their fee is 6,99 now and with the character it's 9,99 but thats for one fucking character.
6: why is it so buggy all around i thought they had fixed all of this by now
7: im gonna actually try playing tomorrow because it looks fun and i spent 10$ on this im not giving up w/o a fight
8: what server are u guys on i dont wanna be alone :((
9: does it matter what race/class/sub-class i choose. like if i wanna be one of those wood elf dudes, raised as some warrior and lancer class or a human as a mage or..i dunno
otherwise game looks good i watched the opening cutscene on youtube and square as always know their shit regarding cutscenes and CGI, not to mention the voice acting for that catgirl chick and the elf dude felt really spot-on and im surprised the main dude actually spoke

Be careful with what you post about it, there's the whole confidentiality aspect they're enforcing for at least the first couple of phases.
