I'll probably look for some group/guild too join next since soloing in this game is not an option.
EvE has the same problem tbh , Soloing is possible but extremely boring. As I suspect with Mortal Online , Playing with friends or joining a guild would be much more satisfying. This is why small , theme park mmos like WoW do so well. You don't have to have friends to play them.
Well I finally got it running and... This isn't even a game. They COULD make it good if they, you know, added things that make it a playable game. Right now it's just "Ok here you are in the game world do some stuff ok." I ran around for about and hour trying to figure out WHAT THE FUCK to do, then I quit because of how bad it was.
Next time read what you're getting into, this is blatantly told that it's not a pansy game in which you're guided by a hand, you can get killed anywhere at anytime.
Noob protection
Don't hate to say it , MO will need it. It's one of the problems with open pvp. You need to let new players get a handle on your game's controls before throwing them to the dogs.
This game is not that bad. But, it is boring. Also, the crafting system made me so angry, i literally broke my keyboard, and uninstalled the game. You need a book for everything you do. Literally, you buy one book, you need to buy another book t use that book. ITS JUST A WHOLE CHAIN OF THINGS. and i cant even tame anything it takes for ever my character is bugged to hell. They really need to fix this.
So far the only thing that has really bugged me (other than the lag) is the fact that I can't seem to split stacks in my inventory. I do exactly what it says but no dice. Stacks split just fine in the shops though. Once they get things rolling they will have a good game on hand. But for a monthly fee, I'll pass.
I just got mugged for like the second time. They didn't even take my shit.
I just got mugged for like the second time. They didn't even take my shit.
They think that their penis will grow a few inches for each player they kill.
Well that's silly. They could just read a Short Sword book.
Would be kinda funny if your character got more well endowed every time you killed someone.

I may as well try the Open Beta, couldn't hurt [editline]04:19PM[/editline] Uh I ran the launcher and it said it was unable to connect to the remote server or something. Guess I can't patch or whatever right now

This game is soooooo bad. But it did make me laugh harder than I have in a long time Don't even waste your time looking at this game
Downloading the beta as we speak, however I have to say the fact they try and get you to buy the game whilst signing up is pretty low.
It's funny how the MO devs claim that their launch would be better than Darkall's, when they don't even have a working AI a few weeks away from launch aswell as in open beta. I would honestly be suprised if MO survives 6 or more months after launch, taking in consideration it's level of incompleteness, shittyness, and unprofessionalism.
Yeah, I've already uninstalled it. The only reason some people will probably keep playing is because they shelled out the $$ for it. For being so close to release, it's a bit pathetic.
Haven't seen anyone in the game.
What game?
Downloading the beta , Will post results.
Anyone who whines about the craft system is pretty dumb considering that if you cancel reading after beginning it you still get the skill
Not everybody knows that.
Not everybody knows that.
It's pretty easy to figure out.
It's pretty easy to commit suicide too.
This game seems really cool. I love exploring around, just generally having a fun time. Should I download the beta? It seems to have some negative views.

I'll help you if you have any problems.
I was making armor for somebody, and like 15 fucking thieves swarmed me.
I just want a game where you can go out in the wilds, run into other players and all sorts of trouble. Does this game allow you to do that?
Yes. The Player part at least, not very much monsters yet. But I've bumped into plenty of bandits.
It's relatively fun, however it seems a bit.. bare.
