Mortal Online is simply unfinished, and if they don't get more people to pay $80 for shitty beta they will never get it released and if they do it will be a failure.
- Beta is half assed and bareley polished, a few npc there are, act completely retarded, combat takes no skill at all, with the lagg all you do is run around spamming mouse 1 and you can kick anyones ass.
Stamina constantly runs out and when some one is about to die they turn around and run away (running faster than a horse)
- Horse combat/archery is impossible with all the lag.
- When you die you loose all your shit and there goes that 3 hours of mining and lumberjacking. Than you run around with blurry screen trying to find some dude to resurrect you.
- You can break into other players houses since clipping is fucked up.
That bout sums it up. UT3 engine is not meant to run an MMO off a shitty server in Sweden. It is a cool concept, poor execution.
And fanboys who defend the game like its their mother can go fuck themselves. Since they feel butthurt when they realize they spent 80 bucks (50 euro)on a piece of shit unfinished product.

Other than that all your points seem to be about the lag (which I don't doubt at all, especially if you don't live in Europe/Northern Europe). Also if they can they should definitely push the release date into 2010.
Just reinstalled to check the progress. While it's still laggy, it's made some progress from earlier in the beta. I'd say it's working it's way to being a great game. All the content isn't even in yet and you have kids bitching about it being a beta. Well, if you paid for a beta and expected WoW, you've wasted money. I'd say you wait until they are about to release it before you start complaining. Then it will affect people who want to purchase it. At this point my only complaint it lag. I paid for a beta, and that's what I'm getting.

I got this game 2 days ago, after reading this thread I must say those that talk shit about it have absolutely no clue whatshoever.
This game fucking rules, sure it needs to be polished but take a look at Darkfall, one year ago Darkfall(I've been in beta) had alot of shit to put up with in the beginning, and look at them now, it's fucking great quality-wise.
Shame shit happened with EVE and they continue to grow.
Word of advice - get in the Stresstest beta and try it out yourself, people who loved Ultima/Runescape will have a blast. Trust me.
Also graphics are fucking nice if you have a decent computer

not only is MO not a good game...its literally the WORST game I've EVER played and to even call it a game is a total disgrace.......MO is a shitty unreal mod with god awful FPS like combat which feels like watching old people fuck...just slow and disgusting
its essentially just a crafting sim for nudists in an over sized and completely empty world with literally nothing to do except craft and meaningless pvp
theres no PvE content in the entire game....yep seriously....so any thoughts you ever had about battling that uber ass dragon or the dark lich can go right out the fucking window because if you want PvE then you'll have to be satisfied with hunting deer and buffalo cuz thats the entirety of PvE content in this game.....theres also not a single NPC in the game except for NPC vendors....no quests....no storyline.....no text or lore or ANYTHING.....no living breathing dynamic world
This game makes Dark & light seem like a AAA title and to even compare it to Darkfall or Eve is a total fucking joke since this game isn't even 1/10th of those games
the devs of MO are scam artists and they know for a fact that they have no intentions of ever turning MO into a good game and are simply doing damage control right now by suckering as many idiots into buying their piece of shit game as possible before they officially pull the plug
