I actually did the exact same thing to deathrat after he got kicked in the face by a horse. Was funny and bad at the same time.
I got so lost I had to remake my character.
Of course when I re-log it is so laggy I can't even play while 10 minutes earlier the game was pretty playable.

Dunno what to think of this game, I watched FamousCrayon play it and was really slow... like "HURF DURF SWINGIN MAH AXE FOR 20 SECONDS" slow. Maybe it will get better. Maybe it will just stay a pile of shit. Who knows?

It's caused by excessive AI in the node.

you can start as a horse herder which gives you like 35 taming, then you can just tame gazelle to 40. plus you also get a good bit of riding skill so you can use the horses as mounts.
It may be open PvP but most poeple are pussies. I learned myself the axe skill and mined till i had a proper strength level so I'm pretty good with the free spawning equipment ( I usually kill a few poeple per day but ensure I don't go fully red ) And I've leveled my ''condition'' so I can run away if I pick a stronger target ( I'm a pussy myself too ) I've never got PKed myself on puropsed; the only time another player killed me was when i sneaked up to a some guy somewhere in the wild and didn't notice his friends were around. The town guards always own me tough.. In the past 2 days of playing this game only one guy attacked me on purpose , But I ran away.

Everybody tells me the Animala vendor but she only sells Controlled riding and swift riding.
When i try to read the controlled riding book, it says I need to learn riding first. And she doesn't sell a book on taming at all.

We're all together on vent and we worked really hard cooperatively to create armor and gear we could use.
And the mighty shoulderpad of leadership was stolen from a PKer who inadvertently got an arrow though this throat.

Check the basic book vendor.
Do you have to read a book completely? And if you cancel it does that mean you have to go buy another book to continue training it?

I don't know...haven't played the Beta for ages. Can anyone tell me if MO has improved in any way during the last three or four months?

Well there's backgrounds and the lag is a lot better now.
And there isn't a set release date yet far as I know.
