It's for like 1/4 for from the skills. When you equip an axe and you kill something with it you'll automatically gain axe skill.

Just get a miner alt and mine in meduli for salamantine or w/e it is, it sells for 20s/piece and you can mine 90 of it per 3 seconds at max level

Which is kind of one of my rants on this game right now, my main character spend about 2 hours just buying books, learning them all (or trying to) and destroying the rest just to get all the skills to show up in his skill screen.
Downloading the last patch(I hope). I'll be done in a matter of minutes

There's a unofficial one, only dedicated users may find it.

Havn't had time today to put any real effort into it. Maybe tomorrow evening I'll actually put in some effort. The lag is frustrating as all hell. And my shitty connection doesn't help it at all.

This game sounds good, but at the same time, too good to be true.
Did you guys hear about the miracle patch that will come out on the 15th and 22nd?
I had quite the adventure today.
Yesterday, my character got stuck in some rocks, like actually inside them. The /stuck command wouldn't move me and no GMs were answering my petitions. This afternoon I logged on and was still stuck. I had no other option but to suicide and respawn at a priest, so I did that.
This is where it gets weird. I respawn in the middle of no-where at a priest on some tall point on the map. With no map at the time, I decided to just go with the flow and wander around until I find civilization (See the black trial). I run into a new player who dueled me, (See the red dot) I beat him easily, but couldn't loot him for clothes (I respawned stark naked with only an axe).
With still no sign of anything but rocks, grass and mountains, I venture on into the unknown. After climbing a steep hill, I notice some trees down a valley. "Well," I thought. "Even if I don't find anything, I can chop some wood and build up my Strength and Constitution."
So I head down the valley and sure enough find some awesome trees that haven't been touched in a while, managed to get about 1.1k Firmwood. I found some rocks around there too and mined a bit of that too for good measure (See brown dot). Next I headed east where I ran into a caravan of some sort in some palisades. With an ammo vendor and a guard. I sell my mining haul, but hold onto the Firmwood.
This is where my luck shoots up; I find an AFK player amongst the rocks with full leather armour and a sword. I wasn't going to pass this opportunity to get a sword, so I kill the player and loot him clean. (See the red dot)
With a full set of armour, I head further north and see a cave in the distance, built into a mountain. Finally somewhere I can ask for directions, I wonder if this was the cave Linelor and the others were looking for. After a minute of climbing I finally reach the cave and venture inside, I find a player with a torch. He draws his axe and I draw mine, but we're both just being cautious. I ask him where I am and he replies;
"Huergar Caves."
"Which way is Ferbernum?"
"To the west, follow the sun"
He then links me to this map I'm using now, I thank him and he wishes me luck. I go back out the cave and follow the stream up to Ferbunum, I've never been so glad to see it. With a new set of armour and a nice sword, I'd say this was an adventure worth having!

Lol this game got hacked already, thats how much of a piece of shit the coding is. Some dude took over all the guards in the game world and was insta killing EVERYONE in almost every city. Ya totally ready for release...lol.

It's not entirely their coding, it's some loophole using the unreal 3 engine that can be fixed.
