Evil Genius - The greatest (and probobly only) WDS ever made - Games

I once lent my brother my CD and when he gave it back I just put it somewhere and now I cant find it. :saddowns:

sounds interesting. shame you can't make up your own villains to play as. that would be fun.

I always wanted a EG mod for TF2, would have been awesome (TF2 [I]kinda[/I] reminds me of EG, especially the announcer)

Just bought the game and played it for a few hours. First thing i noticed was that you can't go spending like crazy or you dry your bank up pretty quickly and you need to set up heaps and heaps of security doors, everywhere.

^-Not really, I usually set up one security door at the entrance and that's it, no agent has enough time to hack into my evil dome, they always get terminated. Later on I go for force field door.

A sequel could be amazing if pulled off right.

Since the orgial company went bankrupt, there's very few studios that could probably pull off a sequel right, onlyones I can think of are Firefly Studios, Valve and Lionhead (say what you want about Peter, but Lionhead can pretty much nail the humour)

If they got the guys at lionhead who made the movies to work on it I think it could be good.

I might get this. Then again I might get cancer. But I think the former is more likely. But then again I do love the smell of fireworks and wood fires, and these contain carcinogens. Hmm...

Everyone should buy this game. Definitely worth the money, I keep reinstalling it every few months, I just can't let it go.

Let them practice on one of their own IPs first. I know they have the right attitude... but i doubt they're able to do it justice. Give it to Lionhead... they've made 90% of this genre.

Evil Genius is Dungeon Keeper, but remixed... IN THE PRESEEEEEEEENT!, but that's alright since it's a cool game otherwise.

Lucky that EG wasn't made by Bullfrog then isn't it. Though Elixir was founded by a former Lionhead member of staff. Rebellion currently has the IP rights for EG though.

Well i while ago i posted about Dungeon keeper 3 and a new populous. I got a PM from peter himself that he gets such threads all the time and pointed out that they cannot make a new part. They do not want to destroy the series with a new part.

I believe Rebellion [or someone like that] brought the rights/IP to this.
