What was really awesome about MW2 was the music track, I mean, come on, it was written by Hans Zimmer. The game isnt too bad, the graphics are nice, the sound is top notch, so are the animations and the gameplay is really solid. Balancing issues and IWnet ruined it however.
all true except for the last part mw2 was ruined by activision
I use aussault rifle+grenade launcher, thumper as secondary and the resupply perk. Infinite grenade launching.
It was good. Then I finished the campaign.
The CoD4 campaign felt so linear. "Go to this house, kill this guy" Ok he isn't here. "Go to that house and kill that guy "Ok it was a trap "Go to this base, stop this nuke" Yay crisis averted. Also docking points for the monumental dick move of killing off the American character :frog:
Seriously I thought that part of the game was awesome, plus crawling to your death is just an amazing, yet simple thing

When it first came out and nobody unlocked the grenade launchers and all that bullshit.
I'm not sure why people are saying it's a bandwagon. There are tons of things wrong with the game. The story seemed like something out of a horrible action movie, the weapons had no recoil, and you died in like three shots from any weapon in the goddamn game. For the first month or so it was nice, but after that it turned into a contest of who shoots first.
-snip-
Several others and I don't hate it because it's mainstream. In fact, I bought it because all of my other friends are going to play it. It's because the multiplayer is a unbalanced, rage inducing piece of shit. Compared to Single player and Spec Ops.
no, someone hated it, and then it went on to bandwagon hating it from there on :/ nothing really wrong with the game.
It's true, it may be a little unbalanced but can anyone honestly say they fucking hate it? No they dum
It's true, it may be a little unbalanced but can anyone honestly say they fucking hate it? No they dum
I can. It's utterly frustrating and unbalanced, and is pretty much based on luck.
It's true, it may be a little unbalanced but can anyone honestly say they fucking hate it? No they dum
Sorry but that game is literally the only one that make me rage. It's fucking hard not to rage when it becomes a question of who shoots first and using snipers as CQC weapons
Modern Warfare 2 would be one of my favorite games of all time if it wasn't for the major balancing issues.
Sorry but that game is literally the only one that make me rage. It's fucking hard not to rage when it becomes a question of who shoots first and using snipers as CQC weapons
I don't fucking understand the logic of you people who complain about "who shoots first being decider" THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?
I don't fucking understand the logic of you people who complain about "who shoots first being decider" THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?
For it to be based on skill rather than who shoots first?
For it to be based on skill rather than who shoots first?
Uhm and how do you go about doing that?
If a game "was" good then that means it's still fucking good. I myself just don't "care" to play it.
The game is fun, but can just be very annoying.
I really enjoyed MW2, I absolutely loved the campaign and spec ops. I had some good times with the multiplayer too, however I only played the multiplayer for a little while after release before I just kind of fell out of it so I didn't really have too many of the problems people keep complaining about. Was pretty funny in the first couple days after release when people were still confused about what to do when you came at them with a riot shield. To the people that don't like MW2 I realize that some of you have legitimate reasons to dislike the game but don't sit there and try to tell me that a lot of it is not :bandwagon:. A squad of soldiers or police or what have you are clearing a house, they go into a room and there is a bad guy in the sector of the room Soldier/Police Officer A is suppose to be covering. Are you really going to tell me it boils down to anything more than who can shoot and hit first? Strictly speaking about the two guys that are facing each other ready to kill one another, not taking into account any other buddies.
I don't hate it, I'm just sick of it, I played it too much
The game is good. Community is shit.

They meet several Russian Paratroopers using the ACR, the M4A1, and the TAR-21 using sticky grenades. MW2=/=Realism
The gameplay is good and the story is enjoyable... But it's too short, too full of terrible people, too expensive, DLC, awful matchmaking, non-dedicated servers, repetitive, lacks replay value, is cliqued to hell and published by the devil himself.
The game is good. Community is shit.
i'm starting to think that facepunch should start their own community or group for mw2 in short: people who actually play the game the right way without annoying anyone else should play together
I have to admit, I liked the snowmobile escape, airport level, DC level, and zodiac chase very much.

It's not an issue of realism.
The CoD4 campaign felt so linear. "Go to this house, kill this guy" Ok he isn't here. "Go to that house and kill that guy "Ok it was a trap "Go to this base, stop this nuke" Yay crisis averted. "Go this this house, kill the dudes" "Go to this house, kill more dudes" "Go here, kill all the dudes" They're both linear games, but CoD4 had a much better presentation. The pacing was better. There weren't any stupid, rarely used, scripted mechanics that pop out of nowhere, like the "duck behind the dashboard" bit and the ice-climbing.
For it to be based on skill rather than who shoots first?
baww i wasn't paying attention i deserve a chance to kill
For a game that was only in development for one year, it's mind-fuckingly good. Too bad Activision are a load of cunts and fucked everything up. The SP originally was going to be loads longer, but again, they had to insert another cliffhanger because they were running out of time.
op sucks
seriously did you come on this forum just to troll? or are you that retarded most of your post's involve pissing people off by going into a game thread and trolling now make smarter post's or fuck off
