You were in a forest area at the beginning and you could play as either a dinosaur or a human. It was on PC. Later on I think you went to a city area. I think there was also a space ship involved at some point
Sounds like Carnivores: Cityscape to me
top-down, grid-based game where you play as a tank but it was a puzzle game, because the tanks shot lasers, you had to use mirrors to deflect your shots and push blocks around and shit to kill all the enemy tanks, because they'd kill you instantly if you just went directly in front of them to shoot
It was an old DOS game about animals in racing cars, think mario kart but gorillas and tigers and shit it was like wacky racers or some shit i dont know
Oh I thought of another demo one; it was a digging game, 2D. You were a little guy that dug through dirt, picking up gems and stuff. The objective was to get as many gems as possible as quick as you can, however there were boulders which fell on you if you dug below them.
Was it one of those Net-Yahrozee -games? I remember this as well. It had a really generic name.

An educational Doom clone that taught you basic math. I remember having to solve math problems to open doors/kill monsters. The first gun was some kind of stun gun and the game was sent in space or something.
There was this game where you started out with a bow and got to fuck dinosaurs up before ending each level in this teleporter hub place, I know it was one of the Turok games, but I cannot for the life of me figure out which one. All I remember of it is the above, a level set in some Aztec look-alike temple, one set in a hellish lava place, one set in some futuristic space ship place with a giant as hell chamber with pillars and shit and some large bipedal fuckers that shot missiles like the world was going to end the next second. Oh and I remember being terrified by these tiny raptor things that moved at the speed of light
Turok: Seeds of Evil?
Yeah I think that's the second turok, that game has aged terribly though.
Battlezone 2 and Mechwarrior 2: mercenaries, games kicked my ass but I hardly remember anything about them

That one had Gravitation as well, which was my primary source of inspiration for Flowstorm :) Rocks'n'Gems:

Although pretty sure the older ones were PS1 games, dunno about there being a PS2 version. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] Yeah, the first two were PS1 games and the third was a PSP game.
Well, as a kid, I had a Pentium 2, and as far as I can remember, I only liked 2 games on it. I know, I was picky, but the point is I can't remember those now. Can someone help me? Let's see... So, the first game? Well, as far as I can remember, It was a first person shooter, western styled if memeory serves. You were enclosed in some wooden buildings, the sort of buildings you'd see in a western film. I remember you only had a shotgun, and there were no paths anywhere but one door which had a stone staircase inside. If you went closer to the staircase, you'd notice it was a spiraling one, going up not too far. Once you climed the staircase far up enough, you would find a big, BIG room, with dark purple walls, floors, and ceilings (at least that's roughly the idea). So as you would inspect the room ,you would see statues. The statues were that of old people, and they looked as if they were roman, which was weird for a western-like game. As you would inspect the statues for a while, they would eventually start to move, and then chase you and attack you. You had to blast their heads off. And that's about all I can remember. The next game stays a bit more fresh in my mind. I remember my dad always telling me it's Smurfs, but I knew that it wasn't. It was some sort of platformer game. It had a dark atmosphere, and since I was that young at the time, I couldn't really comprehend what was happening excactly. It was a game where you were a blue guy, zombie, alien thing, I honestly didn't know, even back then. So, in the opening cutscene, you would come slowly from the left of the screen, and then you saw you were in a factory-like place, but it looked abandoned. As you gazed at the screen, a green guy similar to that of your player would come from a lower platform on the left, and he would see you, and walk back from where he came from. As you followed him, he would confront you on the next screen, and you had to push a button, I think control, and shield yourself from his attack. As he attacked, he then retreated even further left to the next screen, and when you came there, he was nowhere to be found, and you had to keep going. Along the way you would find prison cells, or cages, or whatever they were, and you had to free the creatures inside. As you went further left, much of the same, you would face your green foe again and again, having to hold Control, free more blue guys, and that's all I can remember. These are roug, but if anyone remembers these, please say something!
I remember a game for PS1 where you played as a cop car,and had to chase down criminals, but you could only play by driving. I remember that you started in an underground garage, and you had the choice of 4 cars,2 being normal ones which you could put up a siren on top of them.
When I really little there was a learning game on the computer. Only thing I remember was a hole in the wall that led to some weird mouse maze. I don't remember much else except for throwing magnets at the computer.
Two games, both point and click: one where you played as a bunch of vikings (not The Lost Vikings), and one where you. . I guess you could play as one of two kids, a boy or a girl, there were some ruins and what seemed to be screaming fruit. Like, fruit with mouths, maybe. You could carry them in the inventory, which was a little backpack in the bottom right.
It was a Spyro game, where the Cheeta got kidnapped, it was for PS1, I think.
It was a Spyro game, where the Cheeta got kidnapped, it was for PS1, I think.
I think it might be Spyro 2
It was a Spyro game, where the Cheeta got kidnapped, it was for PS1, I think.
Spyro 3: year of the dragon .
Luckily for me, I know the name, and I remember it being bizarre and incredibly difficult. Uncle Albert's something something. Unfortunately I can't find any LPs or walkthroughs of it.
Wow looking at this thread what's happened to games these days
There was this one game that I cannot remember but it was very brown and grey and had lots of burly, grunting men shouting military jargon and shooting endless waves of brown people with tacticool assault rifles anyone remember the name? Oh yeah, now I remember, every fucking triple-A shooter made since 2008
I wish I could remember this game It was a "survival" of some sorts where you and some other survivors were stranded on an Island. All I remember is being so freaking happy when I learned how to chop wood and make a fire pit. Anyone know what I'm talking about? early 2000s?
A game from 2001 where you had a ship and got attacked by what I perceive to be flying dildos.
it might have been timesplitters. all i remember is this big orange red blob boss who had an attack where they threw up and you had to jump onto a platform. the game had a metal-slug art style. Also, after you beat the boss you had to snowboard down a mountain. [editline]28th August 2013[/editline] ALSO it was for ps2 or ps1
There was a game called Guardian's Crusade for the PS1. I can never remember it and I have to do a bunch of googling every time I try to remember the name of it. Got lucky this time though.
That's the one with the baby egg thing right? It had an alternate name, something like "Knight and Baby". And the egg turns into stuff like swords.
