iZ3D almost broke my PC, I had to uninstall it in safe mode.
Yeah I heard that from a few people, but I tried it on 3 PCs and didn't really have an issue with it.
Tried my hand at this giffery, came out a little slow but still pretty nice.

So in Hidden and Dangerous, after you get into the bunker, how are you supposed to open that locked door with the sleeping guard?

ACE is a must IMO... It turns the AI into a nightmare. They'll actually suppress and then flank around you while doing so and everything

Witcher 2 screens. Originally 1680x1050 but lowered the image size not to stretch too many screens. Everything on max, although the AA seem to have bugged out in the screens. Don't know if this is because of the size reduction or steam screenshot service overall.

Over the course of chapters II and IV of The Witcher 1, I built up such a hatred for the game that it almost counteracted the great chapters III, V and VI. Not so with this. It oozes 'game of quality' from every pore, it's so much slicker and more fun than the first one. This is one unmissable game.
I don't have the money though.

dude it's fucking superb, it's basically god's apology to the hardcore PC RPG community after the travesty that was dragon age 2
you'll probably be lost in all the lore to start with if you don't play the first game, but I hear it's very friendly to new players, at least lore wise, you'll get raped in the combat
I'd say play the first game first but I wouldn't wish chapters II and IV of that game on anyone, even though it picks up and just keeps getting better once you get past IV.

See the reason I don't play hardcore RPGs is because I'm shit at spending skill points unless my hand is held through the process.

it's incredibly hard to fuck up in these games, there's no attributes or anything, just logical skill trees where you put points into the things you use the most
kind of like DA2 but without the attributes

TW1 is a great game, it's just that there's a negative correlation between your enjoyment of the game (your giveafuckometer, so to speak) and the amount of pointless running about you have to do, which comes to a head in chapters 2 and 4. Unless you have iron willpower and balls of steel getting past these parts can get very difficult (because you literally just stop caring).
