Why is it whenever i save GIFs from games that have a high FPS count, the GIF looks like it's going slow?

So from C&C which runs at 30 FPS, i have no problem getting GIFs from that, but when i get one from something that runs over 60 FPS it comes out choppy, video playback is fine it's just the GIF that's choppy.

Choppy? That is repeating frames, you'll have to (AFAIK) go through and delete repeating frames manually.
You can set framerate manually in VirtualDub by going to Video -> Frame Rate (or just hit Ctrl + R) not sure how well it works to speed things up, but it certainly slows down well.
I think by saving it at 50 and 60 FPS it doesn't like it, because i saved it at 40 FPS and it doesn't seem to be choppy, not for me anyway.

Yeah, that's part of the reason it's called Media. There was a video thread but it was short lived and it's a lot easier to just group all the stuff together.
