It's that nord messenger that gets added in with the Kvatch rebuilt mod, he's set as essential and runs quite fast so sometimes when i'm bored I like to use the kill command on him when he's running somewhere just so he does that :v:

too bad all of that is ruined due to the fact that the game renders in 720p (ruins the graphical quality) and you don't ever get a full shot of anything like that because your always looking at a wall or a giant fucking blur spot 99% of the time

fraps question, if I have an external harddrive and I record on that / buffer while using that does it improve my frame rate?

I have heard rumors it does, I tried it myself but couldn't really spot enough difference for it to be worth the effort. The external drive I used was really old and slow though.

Doesn't change the fact that it looks damn good when i play it. 720p or not, there is no noticeable aliasing unless you WANT to find them. You should look up the specs on this game before you bash it so casually for not being 1080P (what console game ever really was?). It runs 720p with 2xMSAA at 30 FPS and i'll wager some Anisotropic filtering in there too since there's no blurry textures in the distance that ruins the picture. You've got to remember that this is damn old tech too.
Stop being unreasonable. Learn to deal with it looking good. You don't have to kick down the sand-castle just because it's prettier than usual.
I was baffled by that game as a whole. Mostly due to the great acting, the details, the mo-cap, the technical side of it and the gameplay. It mixes damn fine. As most of the reviewers said, Does all aspects pretty good by borrowing from other games, but masters none of them to perfection.

What I really like about APB are the themes. Gonzales's theme is La Cucaracha, so whenever I kill someone, they hear it.

I think it is better if you use an internal HDD. Those are much faster. But of course, more expensive and need to be inside your PC. Luckily, I can record in 1680x1050 at 60fps in 90% of all games. :woop:
