i said earlyer that fallout 3 didnt install properly, but now i am not sure. i have 7, and i tried to download fallout via steam. it finished downloading, and then it tries to start up, but before it can even get to the menu screen it crashes. anyone else with this problem? this is my 3rd re-install, so im pretty sure its not the download.
Delete your Fallout 3 folder in Documents/My Games.
WHEN IN DOUBT MAKE YOUR COMPUTER BLUESCREEN. lT FIXES EVERYTHING.
Shit YES a Fisto [editline]05:13PM[/editline] player.srm - Show Repair Menu for the player. This allows items to be repaired using the player's Repair skill as though the player were a merchant. Caps are required to repair items as for merchant repair, but they are paid to the player, resulting in no net transfer of caps Oh wow thats great
I use player.srm all the time.
Hey guys new gameplay! Dat rifle.
Hey guys new gameplay! Dat rifle.
its way to similiar FO3
its way to similiar FO3
What were you expecting?
I wish they'd completely eliminate the camera jerk whenever the player fires a lever action (or bolt action) gun in first person.
Looking at it some more the way he shoots that rifle and reloads it is so jerky and fast.
What were you expecting?
that they atleast changed the fucking HUD.
that they atleast changed the fucking HUD.
What's wrong with it?
Oh that's cool you need a certain amount of Strength to equip heavy weapons like that grenade machine gun. I think it's about 6 strength you need for it.

Thank god, VATS moves much faster.
I'm currently working on that Friends uncle who actually knows what hes doing is building a build averaging 1000 AUD due to be finished January or December when i have the cash
Even though you could easily upgrade that to a 6000+ (equal to an e6600 pentium) or a 6400+ black, with an 8800gt for less than 150 quid. And an 8800gt is better than the 9500
What's wrong with it?
It's a sign of being lazy, it's boring and im tired of it.
It's a sign of being lazy, it's boring and im tired of it.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The hud is perfectly fine. It's streamlined, yet contains everything you need on it, on it.
It's a sign of being lazy, it's boring and im tired of it.
You could say the same thing about Dead Rising Two: Case Zero HUD. And Bioshock 2. And a lot of other HUDs in a lot of other sequels. It's not lazy, it's just not fixing what isn't broken.

Fallout 3 was a real let down for that. Where was my gauss pistol that removed chunks out of people per hit... For a reasonably full list of nv weapons: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_weapons I like the look of the plasma caster...looks strangely familiar...
So do we have confirmation of diagonal running animations yet? This is a dealbreaker for me. If they do I will preorder this game right fucking now.
Seriously? So, no matter that obsidian have overhauled several major systems, including the chat system, karma, consequences, added a hardcore mode, tons of weapons and factions from what would have been f3 and f4, got rid of the enclave, and followed the story for once. And all you care about is diagonal running animations, which most of the time you won't even see anyway as shooting in 3rd person is often tricky to nigh impossible.

Just that diagonal running animations are such an obvious flaw that should have been fixed ages ago, and maybe, just maybe, they've done it with this one. It really makes a difference with immersion, and you'll still see NPCs doing that weird moonwalk, I think.

I went through the Cathedral oneshoting mutants in the eyes with that thing. And Fallout 2 is being a bitch and the whole pixel color problem is a lot more prevalent than in F1.

Or anyone really for that matter. If they move, they have loot on them that i usually want. Obsidian have fixed the annoying issue were people would be marked as essential, and thus not die. Now anyone can die, and that will affect the playthrough.
Why did the people in those gameplay videos attack Victor? I mean, I realize it was just a hands-on, but he saved their lives and that's how they repay him? :saddowns:
So do we have confirmation of diagonal running animations yet? This is a dealbreaker for me. If they do I will preorder this game right fucking now.
They confirmed there's no diagonal running animations.
But the running animation sure looks better.
They confirmed there's no diagonal running animations.
Seriously, how hard can it be to fix that? :sigh:
