Last night I finished all of point lookout. I loved the chinese spy mystery. Are there more quest chains like that in the game. I love following a story though clues and things.
39 days left till New Vegas release so stoked also random slogan generator gave me this.
39 days left it's time for perfection.
Point Lookout is horribly horrible balanced.
It makes for a very nice challenge to:
Set the game to Very Hard mode
Exit vault 101
cheat
give yourself 500 coins or whatever the fuck
cheat to point lookout ferry (otherwise the story is broken)
remove all your items except for basic clothing
start
I had a very nice time with it.

coins, lol.
Its caps. Hell, New Vegas better be finished before releasing(not like a certain game that was unfinished and was made by them).
Anyone think we should be able to go to the Commonwealth in the next Fallout game?
One of the devs said last month that New Vegas is done, and now they are fixing bugs and polishing it.

They better do. On the other note - I cringed when I saw the animations of the guy shooting you in the intro.. Looks like they still don't know what motion capture is.
Best dancing animations ever.
I swear to god they have 2-3 intern animators doing all the animating.
Or they're just using the same animations as in Fallout 3, which seems pretty lazy to me. The FO3 anims were kinda terrible too.
Is there a way to change your character's race without having to re-add the persk? There was a way to do it in Oblivion, but the same method doesn't seem to work in Fallout 3.

Did you type showracemenu into the console? I'm not sure if it makes you re-add perks though. I only use showracemenu to change some things like hair type or hair color.
I think if you save or something while changing your character you keep all your perks.

You could use showbarbermenu for editing hair without messing with a character's stats. I imagine there's also a command to bring up the facial reconstruction menu for making other cosmetic tweaks. Using the showracemenu command messes with a character's statistics regardless of how little gets changed.

Yes, because, as i have mentioned before, animation makes the game doesn't it.
End of sarcasm
When you consider how much stuff they have changed from fallout 3, a few dodgy animations can be ignored.
I used showracemenu to change my character's face and didn't lose anything. So long as you don't change gender or race, you'll be safe I reckon.
Characters name is johnny Klepto
I downloaded the Sack of Holding

I've used it to change race/gender before and haven't faced any issues.
I noticed that unless you make yourself look fucking stupid most player characters will look the same.

Given how simple it should be to update animations for a game studio, I would think should do it.

Most decorated party in the wasteland all years
Too bad Power Armor sucks in Fallout 3, I mean dogs can bite through it :saddowns:
The dogs have such a low health I'm questioning your fighting abilities
Thats not the point.
Damage resistance of an armor is naught if you can't use it to kill everything first.
I never understood the need for the tesla armor it just seems pointles.
I have heaps on those, from Brotherhood missions. Alot of them actually, I have a weight mod on.

Sometimes it puts me off.
Anyway I wonder how they manage to see those animations and pass it to the final stage :iiam:
Just finished the Operation anchorage. I loved it, though the area gave me so much fucking stuttering. The loot was nice, especially the white armor. I wish it had better DR than the outcast armor. I saved the leader from the mutiny. So I feel good :D
