Godamn. I need a YouTube account to see it.
...then get one.
Mmm, working on a Fallout 3 house. It's not a Vault or anything, it's a hidden utility complex near Project Purity. Lots of space, snazzy command center, even a Nuka-Cola bar is planned. And, of course, a separate room for Dogmeat. Wonder where I should make a home in New Vegas? Not the Strip, too rowdy and I don't want to pay 2,000 caps to use it. Maybe somewhere out in the middle of the Mojave Wasteland. I was thinking of making a home in Oblivion too. I found a lovely view of the Imperial City and Lake Rumare, but I think Benirus Manor will suffice.
Should I or should I not: Should I pre-order New vegas, or wait till reviews are complete? I liked: Fallout 3 The moddibility of Fallout 3 The in-depth details of the first fallouts. Agree=yes, dumb=no.
If you liked some old style or more realism, like ammo weighing or you need to eat/drink/sleep, then hardcore mode will help you. Still, go ahead and pre-order New Vegas. Still trying to beat Fallout 3, went to Point Lookout, lets just say I forgot about the hillbillies and tribals doing more damage. Although the worst enemies are mostly the Overlords, the Feral Reavers, and of course, Albino Radscorpions.

They're strong, fast, got tanks of health, chuck radioactive-gore-grenades, and give almost nothing in return. The same loot as a plain Feral Ghoul, and a tad more experience. Not worth it, to me.
Albino Radscorpions are worse, they are the same as Giant ones, but more powerful, higher health, heals under sunlight, and overall more annoying, plus the loot is the same most of the time.
I hope someone makes a mod like DarnUI for New Vegas.
Has anyone here tried a HUDless playthrough? I find it fun...
Has anyone here tried a HUDless playthrough? I find it fun...
Except when you have to use your pipboy.
Except when you have to use your pipboy.
Tune the HUD opacity settings until you can't see the HUD. Menu boxes and your Pip-Boy will still show. Speaking of which, has anyone else noticed that the New Vegas HUD looks a little different around the edges? I like how it looks now.

But then that also effects the huge ghouls which take a ridiculously long time to kill, so :frown:.
I remember killing a glowing one once and it had bottle caps.... I just don't know. Same for dogs.
I played Fallout 3 months ago, not for too much time (at the part when you need to find the Museum). Now that I want to play it again, I don't remember anything from the story, so I'm gonna start all over again. My question is: what's the main difference between good karma and bad karma? any recomendation in the skills or something?

I never really liked F3's Karma mechanics. you try to be a neutral anti-hero-type guy but you'll still get Very Good karma. makes no sense.
Anchorage was worth all the overpowered weapons and invulnerable armor i tell you what
I would prefer a non-steam version :colbert: then again I'm the minority
Don't worry, I'm with ya. I'd like it if I had the option to use New Vegas with Steam, rather than be forced to use it and be online 24/7 to play.

Evil Karma: Regulators are pissed off, Lady Killer is somewhat useful(maybe). You can fight both at the same time, oh, and good karma gets gifts from Megaton while evil karma gets gifts from Paradise Falls, if you didn't piss them off or destroyed it.

How do I move my save files to a new hard drive? Like what files do I copy to get them onto a new drive? And I hope New Vegas is better with Karma. There are a lot of things that I don't like about Fallout 3 I hope they fix. Like blocking off huge areas of land and forcing you to go through an underground subway station to get there. And forcing you to have to work with the Brotherhood of Steel and the Project Purity team if you wanna beat the game.
Unarmed is best. Iron Fist, Ninja, and Paralyzing Palm are the best fucking perks ever. Punch the fuck out of Deathclaws erry day
Unarmed is best. Iron Fist, Ninja, and Paralyzing Palm are the best fucking perks ever. Punch the fuck out of Deathclaws erry day
then you have to reload every 5 second's you get killed by a deathclaw
then you have to reload every 5 second's you get killed by a deathclaw
You dont seem to understand just how good at punching Deathclaws I am.
I understand perfectly. [img_thumb]http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/6932/fo3thegutpalm.jpg[/img_thumb] This must be the third time I've posted that screenshot here.
unarmed is actually ridiculously good, with good unarmed you can kill everyone in rivet city with your fists

Paralyze a Yao Guai midflight TO THE MOOOOOON
They better fix the karma in New Vegas. Or even have reputation. Also, quick question. Why is killing [sp]Anna Holt[/sp] considered evil/you lose karma? [sp]Before you say, she had no choice, she did, she could have lied, she could have done what I did and said fuck you, then say no seriously, fuck you, but she willingly worked with them all because she thinks they are helping humanity. Not counting on that crazy president of theirs, a person who would gladly kill you when you do give the info, or basically killing unarmed civilians. Was Fallout 2's Enclave like this? Besides, Enclave Scientists were always running, and they still dropped fingers.[/sp] Also, will we see the Enclave in New Vegas. I mean, there could be multiple parts of the Enclave, [sp]unless the Capital Wasteland Enclave was the last one or the most important/powerful one and if destroyed, will result in them being a minor annoyance.[/sp]
