Bethesda better playtest their shit before releasing. Okay, how many bugs do you think New Vegas will have?
At the very least, they could FIX FALLOUT 3 FIRST.
Close shut the vaults bugs of fallout 3.
Anyone know if there is a console command that shows how much damage a weapon does?
Anyone know if there is a console command that shows how much damage a weapon does?
It says how much damage a weapon does in the pip-boy when you select the gun what are you talking about
I'm testing a fix for a perk, and I need to see if it actually changes the stats, or if it just changes the Pip-boy damage readout.
I have played fallout 3 for almost 70 hours now, and I just found out that you can pick up objects by pressing "Z". I spent like 5 minutes trying to get an intact garden gnome to stand upright in a good spot in my Megaton house by picking it up and dropping it from my inventory.
Wow, just... wow.
You can hotkey weapons and stuff too.

I Played about 65 hours of Oblivion before finding out about the fast travel.
Oblivion got ruined when I found out about Fast Travel. I just couldn't help myself. Oh, and it crashed about a gazillion times.
Started playing FO3. Bought it a few days ago with all DLC. I've played through it twice on 360 already, but I always favoured Megaton, never finished all Moira's quests and never actually went exploring properly.
Going Science instead of getting my lockpick to max this time.
Moria's quest was a bitch most of the time for me.
Megaton has charm that I like as well. TenPenny can fuck himself.
Donno if you guys have seen this. I found it weeks ago, and I think it was originally taken off for copyrights. But this is the starting scene to Fallout:New Vegas.

That has been known for months.
eh well i knew the beginning was known for months but i wasn't sure about the vid.
Is New Vegas' story just like FO3's? As in, pre-war era, so I get to roam the wastes of Vegas while listening to 50's music?

Setting =/= Story
And yes.
I meant the whole part about Nuclear War.
As for Fallout 3, is there any reason to keep Grandma Sparkle (Or whatever she's called) on the coast alive? She keeps a good amount of ammo and stuff there, so I just killed her.
Also, physics mods. Are there any?

No, I mean is not like is called Fallout or something like that, infact, there are flowers and trees, and they removed mutants and any kind of monsters, also everybody is nice to you and are perfectly sane!
No, other than you killing a sweet old lady who did nothing but sell you mirelurk meat.
Grandma Sparkle got killed by raiders when I played.
21 days till New Vegas Release.
Just got this for pc after playing through twice on ps3, any good mods I should get when it arrives?
[editline]19:39[/editline]
not nudity mods
You could get the Real Time Settler mod.

umm what
Yesterday I bought the latest issue of Xbox magazine, and it had an article on Fallout:NV and it looks... somewhat disappointing. I guess the screenshots didn't do it justice, I liked what I read, but the screenshots didn't impress me.
The town of Freeside is separated into 3 districts with loading points in between or something like that.

What did you expect? The unmodded game looks like a dog's dinner anyway, such is the nature of the gamebyro engine. The graphics stopped being good looking years ago, if you're buying New Vegas, you're buying it for the writing and story, otherwise it's literally just a reskinned FO3 with more orange.

I guess you're right. It looked really... bloomy. Everything had a weird white tint, and everything was flushed. Other than that it looks good, also, looks like the Shishkebab is returning as a weapon. I actually bought Fallout 3 for the exploration, but the story is hard not to get into. The graphics weren't why I bought it. (Does anybody buy games solely for their graphics?)

It looks bloomy because it's been developed to run on consoles, and having a shitload of bloom and other shader tricks helps cover up Gamebyro's horrible, horrible textures.
Fellout really did make the game look better though.

I've no idea why they decided to lump in that amount of colour correction, if there's one colour I don't think of when I think about post apocalyptic wastelands it's muddy green.

GOD I hate Fallout 3, there's nothing wrong with my load order or anything like that, but I STILL crash. I've spent more time troubleshooting and not getting anywhere than actually playing the damn game, I should just call it quits and wait for new vegas.

I'd hit it. With a Deathclaw Gauntlet.
