Yeah you can.
I also cannot wait for my CE to arrive on- friday. FFFFFFFFF
From the picture of the specs im assuming there the same as fallout 3s
Yeah pretty much, the specs are back 1 page.
I can't preload. :smith:
Try double clicking on Fallout New Vegas anyway. I tried it when it still said "Not released yet" and a menu came up with "Preload Ready".
It doesn't even display the icon. Double clicking does nothing. :smithicide:
Good god I just noticed the day NV is released in Europe is exactly the same day were going to Spain for a week.
This just sucks really bad because now after 4 months of waiting It will be even longer plus I will spend all my time in spain thinking about what I could be doing in NV at that moment.
:suicide:
Buy it on steam or get someone to send it to you.

Don't worry, I can't run it either.
I'm honestly apprehensive about New Vegas, it looks like Fallout 3 but with a standalone expansion. Hell, you can see some recycled armor/weapons in the goddamn trailers. I'm not saying that that is a bad thing, I'm just scared it'll be a Fallout 3 remake with new shit in it. Are they doing anything really big/new with it or is it just "hurp durp new story/guns"

I wish there was an uninformed rating.
Do you know how many features were added to the game among other things?
No, I don't know, that's why I'm asking. I haven't followed New Vegas hardly at all

Could you rate them "informative" ironically?
don't talk about me like I'm not here :(

Off the top of my head there's:
The gambling
The improved follower system
Every NPC can be killed forever
Weapon modifications
A respect system different from karma based on how much the factions in the game respect you.
And a bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now.
yeah but none of that is really game changing (except the respect system/weapon mods, but we had those with mods for Fallout 3 on the PC)

What would be considered "game-changing"?
I've seen some people streaming it on Justin TV already.

IIRC, there will be more faction-based and selective questing. Like: Destroy compound for NCR, lose related mission from Caesar's Legion. So basically, doing certain quests might make others unavailable. Fallout 3 was supposed to have this, but it was never implemented.
it just looks the same... from the trailers. I'll hold judgements till I play, but it looks almost the same as Fallout 3
It uses the same engine and a lot of the same animations. Though I think that's a good sign. Means they probably spent more time on quests and game mechanics then making it look pretty.
Well, I hate myself. I can't play FO3 without using the console for the unlock or kill commands.
Mind you I am trying to play on Very Hard with 'extra hardness' mods while lagging from the amount of custom textures I have, so I guess it's my own fault. :v:
