It will, there isn't any other major faction that could rival their expansion. While the BoS can fight them in a war, they aren't spread out enough to hold them off totally. Otherwise there's only smaller factions like the Legion or Vault City, which may be able to resist NCR for quite a while but will eventually be annexed. Well maybe not Vault City, since they're probably the most technologically advanced faction, and while having no offensive capabilities they are self-sustaining and very heavily entrenched.
Yeah, but Vault City I could see eventually joining the NCR. Also, is the Enclave basically gone now? They got really fucked up when the oil rig exploded in Fallout 2, and I imagine their defeat in the Capital Wasteland didn't help either.
i really need to read up some of this fallout lore i havent really followed

The Enclave had an oil rig base, a large army, and better technology than almost everyone else, but still managed to get defeated by some kid from a small village with little to no technology at all, so NCR should have no problem taking over a city, even if they do have good technology. Also, is anyone else always nice to Gob even if you're a dick to everyone else? I feel bad for Gob because he's treated like shit. I didn't do the Power of the Atom for a while because I didn't want to kill Gob.

Also the Enclave is pretty much done forever.
In one of the ending Vault City was absorbed by the NCR. Also the Enclave is pretty much done forever.
Good, never really enjoyed the Enclave. Also, I wonder if New Vegas will bring back the individual endings for each town like in Fallout 2.
my guess: American-based company, so it ships out to all the stores in America faster, ensuring the earlier release date. the other countries get later release dates because it takes longer to ship them out in said countries... because they're different countries... not sure if it really makes sense, but it makes sense to me...
No, it's because of localisation takes time and cultures are different. Even though the UK still has to wait. :(
I'm 90% certain I'll be getting a new computer for Christmas. Guess I should wait to get this then.
Good, never really enjoyed the Enclave. Also, I wonder if New Vegas will bring back the individual endings for each town like in Fallout 2.
I hope to God so. It's possible. We have Goodsprings, Freeside, New Vegas itself, and I've seen a bunch of other towns on the map. Including the snowy resort or whatever.
If not Nexus will yet again slaughter our eyes with naked men.
Sorry if male nudity offends you.
You can media tag images now. Although this doesn't phase me since I've seen worse on fo3nexus.

Including the snowy resort or whatever.
Yeah it was awesome. I remember getting psyched for multiple endings in Fallout 3, they said in the Game Informer issue that there were like 30 or so different variations. It was a big let-down to see there were only like 3.
Found this in my pictures folder. It was from a mod I was working on. I forgot I had this.
weres the anime?>?
I wish someone would make a Fallout game (or even mod) taking place in the Midwest.
I wish someone would make a Fallout game (or even mod) taking place in the Midwest.
Fallout: Tactics But I wouldn't mind one in similar style to FO3 and NV. I would love to have one set here in Indiana, it's got a nice mix of city, farms, and gritty low class shitholes like in Gary.
Since when was tenpenny tower scale models mass produced
oh god penis Sorry if male nudity offends you.
That's not official... is it? I mean, that's not actually in New Vegas, right?
That's not official... is it? I mean, that's not actually in New Vegas, right?
That's not New Vegas how can you be so... bloody... UGH
That's not official... is it? I mean, that's not actually in New Vegas, right?
Why yes it is, Mr. Gullible. That's a screencap right from the game! Also, if you send me $60 I can mail you the game early.
I'm gonna get Fallout 3 GOTY instead because my old version is broken. I'll just wait for New Vegas and all of its DLC. Hopefully they'll release a GOTY edition with all the DLC like Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Sadly, I'm going to have to wipe The Vault from my Bookmarks and History. I can't just take the temptation of reading up on the entire game and spoiling it horribly. I wonder if there's a 'Scavenger's Dog' type of model in New Vegas? If so, someone could pop out a Dogmeat mod. I would so totally attempt to make that, but by the time I actually get New Vegas and its version of the G.E.C.K, someone will probably already have churned out several hundred similar mods. [editline]16th October 2010[/editline]
Raven Rock was their last stand really.
I consider the Battle of Project Purity to be their last stand, during Take it Back! The Battle of Adams Air Force Base is really just a remnant of the whole force. The whole force wasn't entirely involved, and it was a minor battle.
No, it's because of localisation takes time and cultures are different. Even though the UK still has to wait. :(
And it'll still have American spellings.
And it'll still have American spellings.
I bet it'll still have american spelling anyway, the lazy fucks [editline]17th October 2010[/editline] or is that what you meant? I think it is now I read it again :P
So according to a streamer, the story is way longer then FO3's. And you can also look after yourself and form your own "faction" in a sense. Don't wanna say anymore since we'd be getting into spoiler territory.
Guys, I have New Vegas right here in front of me! Here's a picture:
Vegas is neat... but I was hoping it would be more exotic. Not necessarily Fallout: Hawaii or anything but it'd be cool to have a European setting in an upcoming sequel.
way to miss the point of the series matix
Pretty much, yeah. I think the Fallout story is one confined to the 1950's American cold war culture.
Is it known what's happening on other continents like Europe and Asia in the Fallout timeline?
The concept for a pre-Fallout "Resource Wars" game is set in a collapsing Europe (during the European Commonwealth's invasion of the Middle East) and is one of the games that J.E. Sawyer would like to make if he could do any game, regardless of money and developing time[1]. sounds cool i gues
