Why do I have a feeling that New Vegas should've been Fallout 3? Obsidian are making it look much more like the first ones.
Except Bethesda didn't make New Vegas.

Rated myself dumb and edited the post.
@MasterG:
I don't think Valve has psychic powers to know that, just leave a note with your account credentials in your DVD case.
This may sound weird, but what happens if someone owns a steam account and they die? Do all the games just... go?
Leave your Steam username and password in your will. :v:
I can't fucking wait!!
Why do I have a feeling that New Vegas should've been Fallout 3? Obsidian are making it look much more like the first ones.
Because a lot of the plot elements are taken from Van Buren.
In 5 years i've spent nearly £800 on steam. (Not counting gifts and sales) in 45 years, who knows how much i'll have spent. £15,000 !?
Chrissake and I was thinking some people's smoking habits were expensive.

What's its current value?

That's quite impressive, but it decreased its value to £613, well mine is only £150 worth.
I still would like to see exstencive data on the Vault Experiment. Particularly Vaults 68 and 69.

Not likely to see it in this game, since there are only 5 vaults. 34 is in this'n, however. 34's perk was simply amazing. Apparently, there are still people living in it too. I'm amazed, frankly.
People who come to Facepunch and moan about Steam, and then moan about people flaming him about it are dumb. It's like walking into Mordor, shouting "DO YA THINK YA HARD' ENOUGH!?" and then crying when you die from an arrow.
Why do I have a feeling that New Vegas should've been Fallout 3? Obsidian are making it look much more like the first ones.
Actually it is more like fallout 4.
Ok...that line will confuse some people. Oh well.
Anywho, now is when I stop reading about people playing the game already/watching trailers/etc. See you all on the 22nd.
MY AUTOMERGE! I CAN'T FEEL IT ANYMORE. /caps.

AGAIN? SERIOUSLY? /caps.

Why...essentially it is creating a vault with the same values as America.
Oh...and cool concept art from van buren:

Nevermind, here's a valve employee.... sweet jesus.
http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/JasonM
£10944
Every single guy that works at valve get EVERY steam game the moment it becomes avaible for purchase for free. That's like cheating in real life.
I can't remember what I read in here this morning so what time GMT will us Europeans get to play it?
I remember something about thursday? Please say I remember it correctly :buddy:
[editline]17th October 2010[/editline]
And fuck I need to become a VALVe employee
In 24-hour, 00:01 on Friday, I think.
Fuck SAKE I need to order this.
And this, steam haters, is why devs use steam.
From a drm point of view, it is pure genius.
It just prevents day 0 leaks, but games still get cracked day 1.
[editline]17th October 2010[/editline]
You only have to remember a password and an user name and you have access to the games for the rest of your life VS. You have a disc copy of the game which can get lost in the years to come.
Or your account can get banned, stolen or Steam can shut down.
Both have bad sides, I prefer retail.

Bad side about retail is the worse DRM, I hate SecuROM and Starforce. At least Steam won't fuck with your PC.
Which is better?
Disagree - Oblivion
Agree - Fallout 3
Steam versions often have the same DRM
Oh well, I still crack all my games.
or Steam can shut down.
Valve have said previously that if steam shuts down (Highly unlikely given that they're the biggest distributor at this point), they will allow everybody to redownload their games through them without the DRM.
