Apparently, the DLC is gonna be made by Bethesda, and they seriously expect one will be Area 51 because A) they didn't do it and B) Bethesda have no reservations about "ALIENZ!!!111!!one!!"
Area 51, Vault City, The Boneyard. This sounds like a nice line-up. Also, who would have REALLY wanted a Ghoul casino? That would have been awesome. Anyone notice that The Strip looks really dead? There's like 3 people walking on it at a time. I hope that is modded by someone.

I hope New Vegas has some sexual content to it. I may have worded that wrong, but let me explain. No, I don't mean those sex/nudity mods that Fallout 3 is plagued with. From my understanding, the original Fallout games had sexual content in it (I read your character could even play the part of a stripper in Fallout 2). I mean, this takes place in Vegas, so it's not like those themes wouldn't fit in with the environment, rather you would expect it. However, let me clarify, I wouldn't want those themes in if it didn't add anything meaningful to the experience. The classic example being those mods that exist for Fallout 3 that added nothing to the gameplay except helping teenagers jerk off to crudely animated sex scenes.
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_quests
Pre-release content.
It's nice to see you've finally come out of your coma
I'd assume that means I'm out of the loop. Explain sir.

GTA had very tastefull sexual content, £70 dollar hooker treatment, then burn the bitch to get your money back.
Apparently there's a "crazy" amount of quests compared to FO3. Also, there's going to be a definitive ending but it can split into a lot of ways. I read the interview.
Fallout 3 had tons of quests as well, most of them just weren't marked. Which was too bad, I always forgot about ongoing sidequests that I got sidetracked from.
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/ cool
Hell yes can't wait. Hey who here was working on those mods for New Vegas that are supposed to be like pre-order packs?
In a somewhat tasteful way, as in Mass Effect 2 or GTA IV, or what were you thinking of?
Both examples of it being handled well. I don't know, part of me likes being able to form relationships in open world games. For example, Fable II allows you to interact with citizens and raise a family even though neither aspect is very fulfilling, it is interesting. GTA IV had the dating and friends system, while boring at times, really helped me feel like the world was alive. Mass Effect is on a whole different level when it comes to character interaction. When I played Fallout 3; something felt off. There were NPC's, but you couldn't really interact with anyone, except for following orders or killing them off. Hell, even though Fable II's interactions system was just primitive hand and face gestures, at least you had the option of interacting with them. I guess this is a bigger issue then just sexual content and mature themes. EDIT As I want to see the interaction between citizens in Fable 3 expand and become more meaningful, I want to be able to do more with the survivors in Fallout rather then them being targets that I choose to let live or die. So while I never played Fallout 2, the idea of your character being a stripper is actually in some way interacting with people, even if it's in a crude sexual nature.
I have $57 scrounged up, I should be paying for things but I'm going to get this instead, AM I GOING TO LOVE IT
Wait do you have it yet? or is that your assumption based on videos
Saw a stream and in all the dev diaries. It's really empty looking. Feels like a ghost town. Vegas wasn't directly hit. Hell Rivet City and Megaton have more people. Also Woot, those aren't all the quests. That's the ones that people know of so far. And even then, it's more then FO3.
Oh
Oh
I really liked that post.
So if only one character cannot be killed, does that mean there are no children? Or even better, killable ([sp]edible[/sp]) children? :q:
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/top/alltime.php Second one down. :frogdowns:
Oh
FO3 had 36 quests. FONV has 39 so far and we haven't even gotten the real game yet on PC. This is just from what people seeing streams and playing on 360 are telling us. 3 story quests? You know there's going to be way more then that. Proof the list is incomplete. Gah I'm so excited. Not even done yet and it's already topping FO3. Also kinda a spoiler but it doesn't tell a major part of the plot. [sp]You can siege Vegas and become ruler controlling securitrons and such. And that's not even the ending![/sp]
I just ruined the whole radio station for myself.

Amata was a joke, yeah she helped you, but after all, she blamed you for everything. A real companion in Fallout 3 would be nice, not just some mod without a voice actor.
I just ruined the whole radio station for myself.
I saw your spoiler.. :saddowns:
I saw your spoiler.. :saddowns:
yeah me too :\
Imgine the RTS mod on New Vegas.
Tuesday cannot come fast enough. I have Friday and Thursday off. Extra long weekend.
I hate how they're doing it so when you beat it you can't continue. I hope to god that not a single part of the game forces you to choose a side. Sure I wasn't evil in Fallout 3, but working with the Brotherhood felt so forced, what if I didn't want to? You couldn't beat the game. I bought FO3 with the Broken Steel DLC, so I've never had to load a save before I beat the game if I wanted to do some side quests or explore. I don't like the sound of it at all. Losing Exp and ammo/weapons/items. I think when they made FO3 it was more of a mistake that the game ended like that, and the DLC was their way of fixing it. Now they know they can make a quick buck off a DLC so they end the game like that again. I would've bought any and all DLC for the game whether or not it was needed to continue after the end.
