You could also put into the console "Advlevel" I think that goes past the limits

Don't get your steam account disabled then.

[editline]18th October 2010[/editline] Id prefer Gfwl over steamworks Atleast i could disable gfwl and use it standalone

Also you can play games in offline mode even if they are integrated into steam.
Its PC game most people don't lend them out.
Yes but It still requires steam to be running id like it so i could just use the .exe [editline]18th October 2010[/editline] Point is no one sees That valve is using a similar Drm to actovision
No, point is there is no more shitty disc humming in your DVD drive with Steam, it's not like the old Fallout was DRM-free.
No, point is there is no more shitty disc humming in your DVD drive with Steam, it's not like the old Fallout was DRM-free.
Does anyone REALLY play games that require the disk without a no-cd patch anymore?
Does anyone REALLY play games that require the disk without a no-cd patch anymore?
Yes, i don't want to install a fucking crack on my legit copy.
Yes, i don't want to install a fucking crack on my legit copy.
Why not?
Yes, i don't want to install a fucking crack on my legit copy.
But it doesn't affect it in any way except making your experience easier when you don't have to swap disks. I don't see the problem.
But it doesn't affect it in any way except making your experience easier when you don't have to swap disks. I don't see the problem.
Not really a problem, but having to download some unknown file to run the game is just annoying.
No one said you have to do it, either that or DRM, but hey I don't mind Steam so I'm fine the way FONV runs.
Not really a problem, but having to download some unknown file to run the game is just annoying.
What's wrong with unknown files? I have been downloading some really rare files on many suspicious sites because I could not find them elsewhere, and doing some really bad stuff, but last time I got a virus was about... never. I never got a virus in 10 years. Back on to Fallout discussion.
No one said you have to do it.
Well, the guy asked if there's anyone who doesn't use NO-CD, i don't. hell, i don't even have a store to buy games on my city, my CD drive is sitting for at least a month.
Not really a problem, but having to download some unknown file to run the game is just annoying.
Mods are unknown files too
Mods are unknown files too
Mods are mostly code, models and textures, not some random .exe from a site called "game copy world". As i said, i don't even have an option for Hard copies, so I rely on digital distribution for most of the time.
Yes but It still requires steam to be running id like it so i could just use the .exe [editline]18th October 2010[/editline] Point is no one sees That valve is using a similar Drm to actovision
Expect that the DRM valve uses is user friendly.
Mods are mostly code, models and textures, not some random .exe from a site called *CENSORED*.
You can disguise a dll/exe as jpg anytime, the file extension means nothing what hides inside, so you must always have your anti virus be ready.

Protip: Use avast/nod32 NO VIRUSES AT ALL, EVER
Protip: Use avast/nod32 NO VIRUSES AT ALL, EVER
Do this now.
You're to lazy to use scan a file for viruses even if it saves you time?
He uses digital copies, there's no need. Not to mention most antivirus gets false positives from cracks or trainers
