Interesting.
I want the caravan pack that you get from steam but then I won't be able to get the collectors edition of fallout 3.
I want that shotgun.
Anyone want to gift me Fallout 3? I'm poor and I will draw a moose for whoever gets me it :D
That gas mask in the steam promo image is fucking sexy.

Vault 13 Canteen – This handy device is useful for staving off dehydration and providing a small amount of healing in the Mojave Wasteland. Weathered 10mm Pistol – A well-worn 10mm pistol that packs an extra punch despite its modest size. 5 Stimpaks – Food and water are good for long-term healing, but when the fighting is fierce, Stimpaks help keep Wastelanders upright.
___________________
The Tribal Pack, available when you pre-order through Amazon, contains: Tribal Raiding Armor – Pieced together from scraps of armor, this outfit provides protection without impacting mobility. Broad Machete – This heavy-bladed melee weapon does high damage against limbs and can quickly deal out a flurry of attacks. 5 Bleak Venom doses – Useful on any Melee Weapon, Bleak Venom makes short of work of most living targets. 10 Throwing Spears – If you would like to silently pin an enemy’s head to a wall, Throwing Spears are the way to do it.
___________________
The Caravan Pack, available when you pre-order through Steam and Walmart, contains: Lightweight Leather Armor – This hand-modified suit of leather armor reduces its overall weight without impacting its ability to protect. Can you get the collectors edition in the UK?
I wanted to preorder New Vegas but I'm rather put off from doing so after the flop Alpha Protocol was.
Can you get the collectors edition in the UK?
Not yet. Can only get the Steam DLC here as well.
Not yet. Can only get the Steam DLC here as well.
I shall be waiting. We better be able to get it, I want the amazon collectors edition. The Tribal Pack is the best pack in my opinion. Then the caravan pack, then the mercenary pack. The classic pack kinda sucks really.
I wanted to preorder New Vegas but I'm rather put off from doing so after the flop Alpha Protocol was.
Most people seem to like it.
Okay this is wierd I just left dukov's place and there was an enclave soldier fighting radroaches but I haven't done the quest that spawns them yet.

The Caravan pack is quite cool. Reminds me of Mad Max's outfit. Really sucks that they pull out so much content just so they can put it in pre-orders though. No matter where I pre-order it from I will lose the content from three of the packs. The price for a game is already pretty steep, and the last thing I want is content being pulled out of my copy.
I would pre-order, but i choose gore over new items. Realy, it sucks, this censoreship thing. I would also not be surprised, if New Veagas would not be realesed here. Yeah, shitty english, i apologize
I think it might get the classic pack because it seems like it would give less of an advantage.
Why did they give the Vault 13 suit to the shittiest retailer!?
I want the Machete. :smith:
I'll probably pre-order from steam because that caravan shotgun looks badass.
I'm stoked that they recognize tribals, I just hope they aren't all wearing FO3 Raider Armor. :colbert:
Where the fuck is the improvements [editline]02:42PM[/editline] This looks exactly the same as FO3
New Vegas is going to use the same engine FO3 has. Not sure though. But yeah, i hope it wont use the same engine.
Pay extra to get ingame items? In fallout 3? :crossarms:
Those aren't for fallout3, those are for New Vegas. Also they're pre-order bonuses so they don't cost extra.
I always thought different pre-order bonuses for different retailers was a stupid idea. One (or several) universal bonuses would work better and keep me satisfied. I don't want to buy the game seven times to get everything.

Because then I'm sure lots of people will either replicate the outfits or just make better ones. [editline]09:51PM[/editline] Plus it's just that you get one exclusive weapon, and one exclusive bit of armour, neither of which are probably as good as weapons and armour from later on in the game. [editline]09:53PM[/editline] Well, if you get the vault 13 one, you do get a canteen, but that will probably be really easy to copy, as I doubt (I hope) it's not the only canteen in the game. I'm sure that the packs are just things to make you pre-order, and things to just help you out at the beginning.
New Vegas is going to use the same engine FO3 has. Not sure though. But yeah, i hope it wont use the same engine.
SPOILER ALERT: Yes it does. [editline]10:04PM[/editline] Ahahaha what the fuck is with the tribal pack it looks like it was textured by a five year old. That or some serious glitches, but still, eww.
I'm probably gonna get the Caravan pack. It's the most new looking out of the lot of them, I had enough of jumpsuits and 10mm pistols in FO3.
Wait, I'm totally clueless right now. How do you see what companies are giving out what packs? Do they still have that one with all the poker chips?
http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=22509943&postcount=545
...and now I'm wondering how I missed that.
