I know they should be sweet. I noticed it when I was reading an article on Joystiq ([url]http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/10/fallout-new-vegas-gets-retailer-specific-pre-order-items/[/url]) about different pre-order bonuses at different retailers, and one of them included 10 throwing spears from the start.

Thank god some of the people working on it worked on the original games. It's nice to see some flavor from them in New Vegas.

It happened for me at the Super-Duper Mart (the very first time I went there at the beginning of the game in fact), But it landed on the ground along with a few power cells. It was funny because one of the puss raiders grabbed it and started disintegrating people and I thought: "Uhh, I shouldn't see people getting disintegrated this early in the game..."

Zeta is the worst one apart from Anchorage in my opinion. Point Lookout is my favourite, with Broken Steel being a great addition to the end too. The pitt is nothing special, but it's perfectly alright, and worth it if you want a little more of the game. Anchorage isn't too good, it focuses purely on the weakest aspect of FO3, the combat. Still, you get some neat gear out of it.

Point Lookout is good if you are not looking for new armor and new weapons. Not saying that the new stuff is bad but there is not that much of it. The new rifle you get in it is good and the story is also pretty good also.
I don't know about anyone else, but I liked The Pitt, more the main game actually.

FWE makes use of FOSE, but if you're hesitant to switch to hard then that's probably not the right mod for you.
