I just completed that cube experimental mod. Fuck me, that was awesome. Better than the DLCs, in my opinion, and the voice acting is fucking great, even by professional standards, which is remarkable for a mod translated from German.

I'm spoilt by Darnified, so when I look at the vanilla HUD it's actually quite disconcerting. It's so... big. And there's so few items on screen, it's horrible.

Darn is basically the original HUD but smaller and customisable to a degree, and FWE is mainly gameplay tweaks (with a fair few items from other fallout games added too). So yes.

Will there be character "traits" as in the classic Fallout games?

JS: Yes. During character creation, you will have the option to select one or two traits. Traits include some of the classics, like Small Frame (in F:NV it gives a bonus to AG but you break limbs more easily), and new ones, like Four Eyes (bonus to PE while wearing glasses, penalty while not).

I think Fallout 1 was the best. It had a great story, funny dialogue, and simple, yet addicting gameplay.
