Will there be character "traits" as in the classic Fallout games?
JS: Yes. During character creation, you will have the option to select one or two traits. Traits include some of the classics, like Small Frame (in F:NV it gives a bonus to AG but you break limbs more easily), and new ones, like Four Eyes (bonus to PE while wearing glasses, penalty while not).

Someone ask whether it has diagonal running animations.
Still no free-roam after ending, apparently.

It doesn't matter that much if we actually get a satisfying ending this time.
JS: This is something we really wanted to do, but ultimately we realized that supporting post-endgame content would jeopardize the quality of the ending, which we wanted to tell the definitive stories for all of our major factions, locations and characters. Instead, after the credits roll the game will prompt you to reload a save created just before the endgame sequence, allowing players to go back and complete any quests they may have missed. Additionally, we make it very clear when you're about to reach the end of the main plot, so it shouldn't come across as a surprise.
Oh wow. They're going to force you to reload previous saves again.
Fallout 1 was way too easy though. Fallout 2 has too much civilization for my taste. None of the games is perfect :(

Its made just before the endgame, so you can still finish quests and shit. I like that.

It's better than fallout 3, when there was little to no notification that this was the last mission, and would end the fucking game when you completed it. It also won't matter if the ending is good, which Fallout 3's wasn't, not by a long shot, in fact it sucked balls. Plus, there'll always be mods that allow you to continue, and the inevitable post MQ DLC which will remove that limitiation.
Huh. Remembered something. There was one time I was captured by the enclave, and they asked the password to project purity. One of the answers was [sp]216[/sp], which is the correct answer. What happens if you tell them that?

Ah. Good to know. Wonder what happens if you [sp]go into the console and kill him and noclip out of the lock. Would the game resume as normal?[/sp]
If I was far enough into the game I would try it, but I'm only at GNR so far.

If he wasn't done talking to the president on the intercom I assume the game would break.

Ahaha, I killed Dukov, and since I've got 'Owned!' installed his place became mine. It's now my new home, and a place for me to put all the people I've seduced into following me, as well as my slaves captured using this mod. It's pretty cool, people I can't seduce into following me I beat until they yield and I can put a collar on them, and those who are not normally hostile I can talk to and seduce.
Any E3 footage of Fallout New Vegas yet or is it coming in a few hours?
I think gamespot has some at 8:00pm eastern time.

I like taking Dukov's place. I was working on a mod but it broke and made my game crash. I got so much work done on it, too. It's my favorite building though. It's nice and big, enough room for a lot of companions.
there is a way to disable the shooter elements in FWE, right? i don't care for FO3 to become a generic adrenaline junkie game.

It has an inbuilt control panel from which you can customise it to your liking. It should be in the apparel section of your pipboy.
Fallout Online now house a website :)
http://fallout-on-line.com/
I just tried to intall DarnUI for FWE. I downloaded the full version, the fix, and the FWE adaption file. Now I get a CTD on the "Please wait" screen of FO3. I used the FMOD version, and even disabling it won't help.
Any ideas?
Did you change the fonts in the fallout.ini?
Also, is there any way to disable the things at the beginning so when I load up the game it goes straight to the main menu? Mine is unresponsive for some reason and I don't like haveing to press escape 500 times just to load my game.
I don't think I did, but it's hard to tell. I'm using the same install of the game since it came out.

Was all over the news few days ago :colbert:
that site loads slow as hell
fuck yes slaves

Only problem is occasionally the whores (which you can't see in this shot) will attempt to have sex with the slaves, which in addition to being completely awkward and unwanted is also buggy as hell, as the sex animation conflicts with the slave's directive to stand up at all times, so they sort of flail between the sex animation and a standing position.
that site loads slow as hell
Yeah I noticed, Interplay's website is loading slow as hell too.
I wish Obsidian would just scrap leveling on knife/gunplay, leveled combat in an FPS game is too clunky.
