is there a way to not have any of the combat relevant features of FWE? I like it as it is, but find the rest of the mod to be an improvement.
No man seriously, the game releases in about 5 months, there's enough time to tack on multiplayer
it should be a crime on humanity to say that. "tack" on multiplayer. It takes much longer to do things in game (the RIGHT way) than 5 months, at this point they could demo a large chunk of the game. To go back farth enough now to add your hopeful multiplayer would push the release date well into next year. Edit: OT: I more like F2, just for the diverse things you could do in it. really, because of Reno. Fallout 1 was still good, dont get me wrong. I love the humbleness of the stroy that unfolds into the jesus-of-the-game. Just the same, Although the beginning vault sequence in 1, which is pretty much nil, was kinda a let down, but understandable. In 2 I didnt like the challenge..whats the word, ritual thing. Its not that it took alot of time, it was just really boring for me. Whish is extremely odd considering i loved the F3 vault beginning, it just felt like there were more choices i could make, to kinda test with new system. So I'm hoping New Vegas will get that balance right. I'd like to get to the game faster, but if you want to, take some time and give me the right chunk of thingd to do on the way out the door.
is there a way to not have any of the combat relevant features of FWE? I've said this like 5 times now, don't make me say it again.

Try disabling your weather mods.

I heard you the first time. i asked because i found that some changes that i don't like were obligatory and i started wondering if it was possible to cut the combat part of the mod completely out. We're talking beyond the settings ingame.
Try disabling your weather mods.
Fixed it, was that Helljumpers mod. Making it load last fixed the problem. Edit: Scratch that, didn't work. Gonna try something called "Fallout 3 Master update" or something like that.

Is anyone else excited about the gambling in New Vegas? The Vegas Strip trailer sold me on buying the game.
Is anyone else excited about the gambling in New Vegas? The Vegas Strip trailer sold me on buying the game.
I thought it was pretty cool that if you do really good the casino owners will like accommodate you and give you the high roller's suite and stuff.
Ugh, I forgot how tedious getting all the stuff to install FWE is, could they have made it any more complicated.
What the fuck. Not even 5 minutes in and it crashes.

E3 2010: Fallout: New Vegas interview with Lead Designer (and Super Hero) Larry Liberty. Interview
Probably been asked, but can't find any answers and don't want to look through 25 pages. I am using the GOTY edition, and expected there to be a way to continue after the end, but it ended just the same, taking me to the main menu. Pressing "Continue" just loads my quick-save right before the end.
You have Broken Steel installed, right? Do you have it mounted as a mod?
So.. IGN missed their scheduled interview and play session of New Vegas or something. Any footage on other sites that I could watch?
You have Broken Steel installed, right? Do you have it mounted as a mod?
Do I have to do something manually? The steam store page says all the DLCs come with it. [editline]06:23PM[/editline] Ah, nevermind, think I figured it out.

Can anyone recommend me some well done balanced weapon mods?
FCOM for Oblivion is worse.
Oh don't even get me started on oblivion
Ugh, I forgot how tedious getting all the stuff to install FWE is, could they have made it any more complicated.
What the hell, all it is is downloading the .fomod, opening it with FOMM, running through like 2 steps in a wizard and bam, it's installed.
Hah, people expecting multiplayer on Bethesda Gamebryo.
yeah thats funny.
People just expect too much in general. They know it uses the same engine, then they get all pissed off because it uses the same resources. You have to be stupid not to expect that. Not to mention, you know Fallout 3 was a good game, you know you played it for 100 hours, and this is more of the same but with a new setting and more features, how could you complain about that?
Give it time Even though it does look the exact same New vegas should be like Halo ODST or crysis warhead I.E a standalone expansion
No, it shouldn't, as they've said it's a full gam, with new gameplay elements, improved combat, iron sights, ability to modify weapons, twice the amount of weapons that were in Fallout 3, ability to join different factions with the reputation system from past fallout's added back in which will also effect each individual faction thinks of you, and all dialogue options are based upon current Karma/skill/reputation. No... No it is definately not a, "stand-alone expansion", as it specificaly states that it is not a sequel and is a stand-alone project. And no character from Fallout 3 will be in Fallout New Vegas. [editline]03:02PM[/editline]
the one thing that they seriously need to do graphics wise is sort out the shitty animations they can leave everything else as far as I'm concerned
The current animations are placeholders, as they've stated their redoing all of them. I think alot of the people bitching are just uneducated on the situation of the game. Which pisses me off since they shouldn't even be in this thread in the first place if that's the case. There are alot of employee's who worked at black isle (original creators of the fallout series) who are working on this, and people are complaining?
Exactly. It's just not good enough for them. And you know they'll complain up until release day, and then buy it, play it as much as Fallout 3, and probably still complain.
