Another E3 Stage Demo

fucking bitch cunt in vault city said she would make me a citizen if i dealt with the problem at the reactor, so i caused a meltdown and killed abunch of ghouls there and now shes not doing anything, FUCKING CUNT. This better not be a god damn glitch.
No its not a glitch, she is the biggest bitch ever, even people who don't agree on the games agree that Lynette is a cunt.
Now I want to get to vault city just to see that huge bitch :v:
No its not a glitch, she is the biggest bitch ever, even people who don't agree on the games agree that Lynette is a cunt.
Well, i failed the citizenship test... Is there any other way i can get into the vault to get that damned GECK?
Actually, I don't believe a G.E.C.K is in Vault 8.
Two G.E.C.Ks exist in Fallout 2.
One is in Vault 13.
The second is on board the Enclave Oil Rig, which is only accessible through the main quest. You would have to go through hordes of Enclave soldiers anyway. The only economical and fast way is to locate Vault 13.
The first way: Go south from Vault City with only a few degrees to the west. Eventually, you'll come across Broken Hills. Go straight south and you'll eventually arrive near the New California Republic. Vault 13 is straight to the west. The G.E.C.K is probably in the Command Center's storage room.
The second way: Go south from Vault City again, but with an increased direction to the west. New Reno should appear after a few minutes. Go straight south and Vault 13 should appear. As said before, the G.E.C.K should be somewhere on the Command Center level.
[editline]11:10PM[/editline]
It appears that, to take the G.E.C.K from Vault 13, you need a Computer Voice Module, which you can buy in New Reno using the second route for $3,000 dollars, or you can steal it from Vault 8's supplies.
Either way, you need to get a Computer Voice Module, get to Vault 13, get the G.E.C.K, or fight your way through the Oil Rig and acquire the G.E.C.K in a secure room's locker.
I suggest, if you don't mind, sneaking into Vault 8 and skipping town with the Module, then get to Vault 13.

Hmmm, interesting, i just did a quest and the girl mentioned New Reno. I'll probably have to check it out... If i beat the game does it still allow me to freeplay?
I'm installing Fallout 2. What mods should I get?
Restoration patch or that other one. There isn't that many.
I want to play Fallout 1 again, but it's so fucking easy now. My other choice would be Fallout 2, but I don't like the added civilization. What do :(
play it Vanilla first.
I witness that thing on every character, I thought it was scripted to happen.
Its the most common random event.
[editline]08:56AM[/editline]
Yea, play vanilla FO2 first. There is plenty of stuff to do.

Thats why you have high intelligence so you can take the test for citizenship, then go and fix the reactor yourself.
Yea, you aren't supposed to cause a meltdown.

I managed to get her to be nice.

There is no GECK in Vault 8. If you pay attention to the dialog, Lynette says they used their only GECK to create Vault City.

You can if you want, but if you do you're racist.
Playing Fallout 2 as well, getting as much cash and XP out of Reno as I can before heading down to NCR.
Computer Voice Module, which you can buy in New Reno using the second route for $3,000 dollars
What is this buy? Kill him and take it, he also carries fuck tons of guns and ammo, even a sniper rifle and a .203 pistol.
Dick all security too, some dogs around the back of the shop, but they're locked in.
Heh. Porpoise.
But anyway, if you wanted, and have it for the PC, FWE fixes a lot of the problems you mentioned, you should try it.
When i use it, it crashes instantly.
Yeah, but I played through Fallout 3 almost 20 times now, and I am just waiting for New Vegas now.
When i use it, it crashes instantly.
Then you installed it wrong. Christ, how fucking hard is it?

You've played it that many times over? Jesus, download some respawn mods and freeplay it.

I looked at what FWE mod and was sorely dissappointed since it added a ton of shit that would make FO3 worse...
Now im trying to get the 20th century weapons pack to work but the guns int it, and ALL the gun mods i try to install for that matter, DONT FUCKING WORK. I mean, they're in the game world, they have animations, they have sounds, BUT THE TEXTURE ARE GLITCHY AS HELL. It's really starting to piss me off and i might go back to playing oblivion since i had no fucking problems with texture for added weapons in THAT.

Use this to get the textures to work.

Just run the exe.
So I started playing this again on the 360 and made a new character, I seem to be having sound problems though. I'm using a HDMI cable and have it set to 1080p but whenever I enter VATS and shoot at something there is a very loud crackling only when I shoot, It only happens when I enter vats, I tried using the color cables and the crackling went away, but I'd rather play with the HDMI cable.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Sound drivers or messed up HDMI is what I'm guessing.
I finally got to the DLC stuff in my GOTY copy, but it seems like the AI has gone completely :downs:; My companion constantly get's stuck, sometimes the only solution is to quicksave and then load. I ended up quitting yesterday when the brotherhood all got stuck looking into a dead-end room. Also, sometimes the animals in the waste just sit there looking at me when I am attacking them.
Anyone know anything about this?

I get this too, except I get it at random times mostly indoors, and obviously I'm playing on the PC.
Does anyone else have very slow loading times when exiting buildings? ( Xbox 360) I timed it and the longest its taken me to exit a building is 3 minutes 12 seconds :/

Sounds like that one glitch from oblivion. Possibly a similar way to solve it?
Anyway, that one download works, textures are working and everything seems to be functioning as it should be.
It's funny, back then when isometric RPG's were all the rage, the gore in THOSE types of RPG's were 'traumatizing', in a sense. For instance, in FO2 when you blow off the head of an enemy or dismember him, you feel a sort of impact on what you've done or what happens to a companion because of how gorey and visceral it is. Very very VERY few games nowadays can match the impact they used to have. I can name mabye, 5 games tops that can be compared.
Oh, for the guy with the G.E.C.K dilemma, give the... entity you see at the Vault 13 airlock your 'trust' and agree to fix a computer, then go down to the Command Center and enter the storage room. The G.E.C.K's in the locker closest to the door.
Fallout 2 finally stopped working after I upgraded to Win 7.
Back to 3.
Somehow, I could never really get myself into Fallout 1. I'm a few hours in, and I still don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do. I'm on a time limit, I have weak weapons and armor with virtually no way of getting better weapons or armor, and there are super mutants in the area where I'm supposed to be.
This is one of the few RPGs I have played where I can't manage to reach that point where my character is powerful or wealthy enough to actually do things.
Strangely enough my year 5 teacher got me introduced to Fallout.
