+ walking in Point Lookout = wow
It's been awhile, but since I can't run either on Windows 7, I'm unable to play them, even though they are installed. :(
The the GoG version. Should run on 7 just fine.
I refuse to let this thread die.
Who else here thinks Fallout 2 > Fallout 1?
Fallout 1 had better atmosphere overall, but Fallout 2 had much more content and gameplay value. Then again I don't like New Reno or NCR much.
I've no way to buy the fallout pack for quite awhile now. I got the fallout white label collection. The GSP one awhile ago, and I got the Original Fallout Tactics boxed. :D Its awesome. Anyway.
I heard there's a HD pack for FO1 and FO2, so I'm looking for that, might fix the rainbow colours I get.
If you're a sadistic bastard, or if you just want the option so you can feel more immersion.
Because most of the kids in the game try to pickpocket you.
So thats why you empty your inventory and go around with live bombs in your inventory so that the kids pickpocket a live explosive.
Hmm, whenever I try to play Fallout 3 Pointlook out, I crash upon level load. :S
Is it my load order maybe?

Shouldn't Fallout 3 and the DLC load first anyway
Well don't know so much about load orders but i think you should have Fallout3.esm and the official addons first
EDIT: Damns ninjad
I wanted to play Fallout 3 but not anymore sience it killed my old Saphire HD 4870 X2. Rate dumb if you want but its 100 % true.
Lemme try loading it all first then, maybe its just me being an idiot.

Ghouls
Ghouls Everywhere
More like zombies. ZombieApocalypse.esm replaces all Ghouls with zombies. I used to play it. Shit was way too laggy with MMM increased spawns, however. Should be interesting with FWE gunplay and needs. I certainly had fun after the roleplayer alternate start.
"OH FUCK WALKING CORPSES WEARING GRAY CLOTHES EVERYWHERE HOLY SHIT I HAVE A PISTOL WITH 30 AMMO AND A SNIPER WITH 16"
And I sprinted to some random store with traps and went to the roof, watching squad after squad of BoS getting annihilated by the zombies.
Tryed setting Fallout 3 and DLC's to first, crashed, just tryed Boss. And ran it again and went over the readme to make sure I got it right, still crashed. Hmm. :(
Guess I'll disable ALL my mods and just run fallout 3 and the DLC's...........and some of the weapon stuff and start a new game.

and, there could not be other contributing factors than a game being "hard" on the card? like continual exposure to heat? a shortage? wear?
I'm still looking for any types of mods that add ANY sort of new creature to the wasteland (and no, i'm not talking about god damn human enemies or resized ones, i mean completely new, as in a different type of mutant altogether).
Also, i would've really loved to see these guys return even in mod form:
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Wanamingo
MMM adds them. Also geckos and other shit.
MMM adds them. Also geckos and other shit.
Nah, i dont want to install a super mod and have it change shit around that i don't want it to.
Found a link for floaters + wanamingo's only :D!
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5421
Now to see if i can find the gecko one.
Feel Free to post any mods that add completely new/old enemies (from FO1/2 or tactics).
Roy may be a dick but he's kind of been forced into that position. The Tenpenny resident's might as well be racist. Also, if you pass a speech check with Gustavo I believe you can get the Chinaman's A salt Rifle for free.
If you convince all the Ghouls and Tenpennians to live together, Roy [sp]sics the Feral Ghouls on them anyway, because he just wanted the tower for himself.Including Herbert "Daring" Dashwood![/sp]
Does anybody else find some moral problems with Tenpenny Tower?
So you help the ghouls in, some time passes, [sp]Roy Kills everyone....[/sp]
[sp]Then when you find out Roy Slaughtered everyone, including the nice Old Lady and Herbert Daring Dashwood, he just says "they had it coming" And the game expects you to go "OKAY FINE THAT'S A GOOD REASON" Because you can't even go "You motherfucker" and punch the zombie asshole off of the balcony without losing Karma. What the hell is up with that?[/sp]
That's why I just kill Roy when I meet him outside Tenpenny, you lose minimal karma

Yeah! And if you take the pre-emptive route, Three Dog calls you out on it! It gets hilarious when he praises you for saving Megaton, then scolds you for [sp]shooting a few Ghouls[/sp].
GHOULS AREN'T HUMAN, THEY ARE ABOMINATIONS.

The karma system in F3 is flawed anyway.
For those of you who think Mothership Zeta is too easy... Use the advlevel cheat to get to the highest level possible (It should be level 51 or so.).
You'd think this would make it easy, but in fact it makes it nigh impossible.

I don't think it being easy is the problem, it's that it's an insipid, lame FPS with no redeeming RPG qualities.

Right, because a free roamable wasteland filled with mutants and quests which shape the outcome of it are totally dull, and stat building with perks, reputation, skills, looting, and level based combat/tasks such as lock picking and hacking, not to mention the styalized VATS combat which plays a major role in combat with the ability to cripple area's of the body as a key element for forming strategies on dealing with foes is incredibly "uninteresting". I guess the rest of the fallout series is horrible to you as well?
Go back to your final fantasy games where the all characters except the main character and his antagonist are completely static and the plot is just a hackneyed, unappealing, mass of shit.

He's talking about Mothership Zeta.

"lame FPS with no redeeming RPG qualities" Why in the world would he say that about DLC?

Because that's essentially what Zeta, along with Anchorage, turns the game into for a few hours.

I thought operation anchorage had a nice change of atmosphere. Although the linear corridors did get annoying.
The music in F3 is sooo depressing..
