Fallout Series Thread - Games

It seems newvegas will be closer to fallout 1 and 2 than fallout 3 was I wonder if i can find somewhere to download fallout 1 and 2. 116 days till fallout newvegas release.

I don't remember what ones though, it should say in the AP settings. You should have an item in your aid menu that lets you change how it works.

I loved the one quest in fallout 3 were you had to [sp]take the Krivbeknih to the Dunwich building[/sp] It's actually very creepy if you do it without using the flashlight and its Midnight IRL.

Also, what's this about blueprinting objects in Rivet City? I've played RTS, and I've never heard of it. And all this time, my village was quite literally next door to Rivet City; it's a group of Rivet City Outcasts on the bridge structure.

It's comparable to racism in Alabama way back when... Obsidian and Black Isle (who are largely the same) considered the backlash from the fans to any non-old fallout game and almost didn't attempt making Van Buren and seriously considered if they'd want to deal with the shitstorm that would ensue them making New Vegas in the "abominal" style of Fallout 3. Those fellas overthere should not be paid any mind. They know their shit about Fo1 and 2 and will be vital to you when you play those. but NEVER start a discussion overthere relating to any other games from the franchise, or you'll have a shitstorm the equal of religious discussions or "why do America have to rape everything with their meaningless wars" threads. I'm crashing every time I level up. I hear it's a problem with Operation Anchorage, is there a way I can fix it?

On RTS New Wave, I can't recycle static objects. It says to point my crosshair at a cinderblock and press [B], but it just comes up with the message again instead of scrapping it. When I try to recycle rubble piles, it just asks for a grenade or mine. I can't put one in, despite the fact that I have 14 Plasma Mines in my inventory. Also: If you need scrap, the Super-Duper Mart has a couple dozen shopping carts, which you can scrap.

I'm not super excited for New Vegas. Don't know why, either. I've tried a few fixes for my crash on level up, but none are helping. I'm doing the Anchorage quest right now.
