After leaving the Vault, I have difficult playing. I ran out of Medkits, ammo, get lost easily.
Has anyone been able to get FO3 to run on Win7 yet? Any patches?
Fallout 3 runs fine for me on Win7 64-bit.

Ha, I had it running on Win 7 64 bit a while back, but it crashed when I tried listening to GNR, so I went back to Vista.
Now I'm rebuilding my computer and going with Win7. I'll be sad if I can't play FO3 :(
I play FO3 on win7 no problem.
Lucky I guess.
FO3 worked fine for me on my Win7 Rig. No problems at all.

They really haven't announced anything yet so it could be possible to play as a ghoul.

If you are having problems With fallout 3 on Win7, Delete your Fallout3 folder in your username folder.
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout3to above user, LOL!
Game crashed on Mothership Zeta while about to finish the game.
FFFFFF.

i save at every breath... Baldur's Gate taught me that and it's the most valuable lesson to be learned when playing RPGs... ABUSE YOUR QUICKSAVE BUTTON! MAKE IT FALL OFF!

Have you patched to 1.7? If not its cause you don't have games for windows live installed, if you have, then well, I guess the same, but FO3 doesn't use GFWL on 1.7 Patch. :S

Maybe it's your NO-CD crack. (not accusing of Piracy, i myself hate having tu put in the disk all the time.) i remember one that would remove GFWL.
Funny you should mention, my game doesn't ask me for a disc after installing Patch 1.7. (Running the UK Version here)
Fully legit, got the case and disc etc, can take pics to prove it. Weird though. Not sure what to say to be honest. :)

Get to Megaton, start the Wasteland Survival Guide Quest, then select the Super-Duper Mart option.
You get supplies from the Super-Duper Mart (loot thoroughly) and some caps.
It should be enough to start you off, and if you ever get lost, check your Pip-Boy.
You should at least have the Vault 101, Megaton, and Super-Duper Mart markers.
Just don't shell out for some inferior supplies, like the .32 Pistol. It sucks.
Also, [b]DO NOT SELL[/b] the armor Moira (in Megaton) gives you. It's pretty good.
99 days left till NewVegas release.
