So I finally got around to buying the fallout trilogy, and loaded up Fallout. After some initial confusion, I decided that I would make the character relatively similar to my fallout 3 character in that he's extremely passive.
So I load it up, go through the initial leaving the vault cutscene, and after a bit of fumbling with the menu, equip my 10mm Pistol. Click on a Giant Rat.
Nothing happens.
Click again.
Nothing happens.
After checking a bit more carefully, I found out that my character was so horribly unbalanced and poorly thought out that I didn't even have enough AP to shoot a 10mm [I]once.[/I]
Are there any mods/cheats for FO3 on PC so that your armour doesn't degrade? It was the only thing that bothered me about the game.

Check out the Fallout3 Nexus. I recommend learning how to use FOMOD real quick if you want to play a modified game though.
Fallout 2 is easy if you know where Navarro is. Just go there and get power armor and shit. Then go to NCR and steal a Bozar and some money. You can buy ammo in San Francisco.
Metro part in fallout 3 is so fucking scary with all mods i have. I even had supermutants in it. But 20 ghouls shouting at once and then running to me was so fucking scary as i nearly wet my pants.
Should i buy fallout 3 GOTY or fallout new vegas?

anyone have tips for a alternte start FWE game? i started with my history as outcast for so i didnt have do do half the main quest to use power armour but raiders are fucking my shit up and the healing of crippled limbs is too hard also i must have about 20 guns but no more than 20 rounds each and all limbs are crippled in my last save.
thinking of restarting with history as doctor but is that useful in the longterm and which area do you start in?
FWE is the only mod i have at the minute, once i get used to it i will probably add the other stuff from FOIP
is there a mod that makes sniper rifles easier to use?

It's called leveling up small arms, get it high enough and there's no scope drift and it's always on target.
Okay, so I'm re-playing Fallout 3, and we were escaping from project purity. Now Only Madison and Garza made it to the tunnels, so we are running, the the dock and garza fucking run up to the ghouls and knock'em out. :wtc: momment I thought oh well. Sadly, Garza thought it would be cool to kill a combat armor ghoul, reaver? Anyway he died. Madison Li from this horrid shock maybe fucking [b]Punched off the head[/b]from an enclave guy. Then she picked up a laser rifle and started dominating ghouls.
I have no idea what happend. I guess that pepole who worked on project purity got some sort of an ideal that you have to punch everyone. Did madison learn this from James? God damn.

Using fallout mod manager? Start the game with that, it recognizes FOSE, if it has it's original name, so there should be no problems.

Many people think this is a fault in the game. i say it's for weeding out the idiots. i like games where Brains also have a say in wether you make it or not. (not implying that you're stupid since you quite clearly discovered the problem without calling EA service for an Interplay game published by Ubisoft... but others do.) I miss those days. but, today's not bad either eh? we got FO3, Mass Effect and Dragon Age as braincrackers.
Well, off to see what places I can find. I think I'm gonna wait to help Three Dog fix his satellite until I level up a bit and get better guns.
While I am counting my chikens before they hatch, I may be getting Fallout 3 for the PC soon. can anyone link me to some excellent mods? I particularly like unique (read: sexualized :q:) clothing/armour, game improvements like Wanderer's Edition and large quest mods.

I'm going to do some research before I make a legitimate character. I haven't played an RPG like this in a long time, I just suck at this at the moment. Suggestions for a first timer, perhaps?

Nah, I like to keep things (relatively) correct within the context of the game. Well, I've got some fetish gear in Morrowind but that's about it.
FWE makes me cry, so hard even with loot set to vanilla. i was clearing springvale school and the raiders there seriously fucked my shit up until i put it on v easy and one shoted them all even then some cunt with a tommy gun raped me as i was going up the stairs.
maybe i should just avoid big groups until i level up some more and get a decent gun as im lvl 3 and started clearing the school with a .32
on a less whiny note i added MMM and WMK not really noticed the differance yet apart from an encounter with a night ghoul, they look really cool i tried to screenshot it but didnt have fraps running and prtscrn doesnt work
Does classic fallout weapons mod prevent laser rifles from spawning? Because since I installed it everyone only seems to use the wattz 200 laser rifle. Could this just be happening because I'm level 20 and the enemies are scaling?
