They give a fucking Chinese Stealth Suit, and unlimited ammunition. Original Brotherhood of Steel would never do that.
The only thing I ever took was the shocksword and a bit of ammo. I didn't want anything else. Then I helped kill the Outcast outcasts. It's up to the player to decide whether or not they will be fair.
Your choice doesn't matter. It's their leader who decides to give you all.
I noticed among the Mothership Zeta screenshots I took. [IMG_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Fallout3_2010-07-23_04-39-41-50.png[/IMG_thumb] :wtc:
He reminds me of characters from Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. And with good reason...
Well I'm done searching for weapons mods that add weapons that spawn one enemies. Are there any good weapons mods where there's only one of the weapon? [editline]03:00PM[/editline]
Your choice doesn't matter. The original brotherhood has one goal. Gather all tech, in any ways necesseary. But of course they do not like outsiders, they tell them to scram. It is very rare that an outsider can call him or herself a brother. The DC broterhood is still like that, the broterhood really does not care what happens to the wastelanders, they only take action when it becomes a big threat. Lyons did not get "soft" in my opinion and I found it stupid. The broterhood is only nice to you because you help them out. When you first meet Sarah, she does not like you very much. Still they are a lot friendlier than the original broterhood. Though I think that the Original broterhood would have done the same with the clean water and stuff. Or not, but there was some intresting tech in there. [editline]07:53PM[/editline] I mean roger maxons said so, that he wants to rebuild civilization, but they need to get tech first. That's why I don't understand the hostility.
ZuXer has it wrong. Lyons' men are a bunch of pussies.
Why would anyone choose NOT to pick up everything unique in the Armory?
Why would anyone choose NOT to pick up everything unique in the Armory?
I liked the Roving Trader outfit. I wore that and the stormchaser hat until I [sp]Joined the BOS[/sp] and then I started wearing power armor.
I liked the Roving Trader outfit. I wore that and the stormchaser hat until I [sp]Joined the BOS[/sp] and then I started wearing power armor.
You don't have to use it right then and there, but the fact that it's unique justifies picking it up.
True, but I could also have just spawned that gear in console if I wanted to decorate my house with it.
Has less sentimental value that way.
ZuXer has it wrong. Lyons' men are a bunch of pussies.
Pussies? Why so? If you think about it they don't really go protect anyone, they just kill off the mutants. And by the way they have the maxon kid with them and no communications to Lost hills? Are they out of their minds? The only descendant from the maxon dinasty is on the other half of the country for whatever reason, and they won't communicate?
Playing Fallout 2 "You critically missed and lost the rest of your ammo!" Seriously, what the Christ [editline]05:50PM[/editline] Missing makes your clip disappear?
Yeah the original Fallouts do that you fire your weapon and hit yourself in the eye your gun explodes your gun doesn't fire your magazine drops and is engulfed by the sand
Playing Fallout 2 "You critically missed and lost the rest of your ammo!" Is this better?
Yeah the original Fallouts do that you fire your weapon and hit yourself in the eye your gun explodes your gun doesn't fire your magazine drops and is engulfed by the sand
This shit only ever happened to my enemies. Guess that makes up for the fact that for some reason, the endgame enemies seem to get two or three turns to my one.
Has less sentimental value that way.
I could just head to the armory any time, why waste the trip when I could just spawn them? I already have them unlocked.
Well when you get a plasma rifle and Advanced Power Armor Mk. II the game is pretty easy afterwards when you kill one or two enemies per turn with aimed shots to the eyes.
So I picked up Fallout Trilogy today at Target for 4 dollars, includes Fallout 1, 2, and tactics. I started Fallout 1 and its pissing me off, when a rat goes to attack me I have to wait while it slowly walks over to me just for 1 small attack Its really fucking annoying as it happens like every 5 seconds
Guess you don't have enough patience. Move on to other games.
Guess you don't have enough patience. Move on to other games.
Or turn the battle speed up.
Or turn the battle speed up.
Hmm, battle speed you say? I'll take a look at that I'm trying Fallout 2 now and I can say I am getting kinda used to the combat but its still a pain

That's why I don't understand the hostility.
The Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 3 abandoned the original "screw everyone else, gather technology" goal of the organization. Lyons instead took it upon himself to protect the people of the Capital Wasteland from the Super Mutant threat. As a result, he pissed off his superiors in the West. His superiors then cut off communication with Lyons, not the other way around. The outcasts are the people that still believe the "screw every else, gather technology" deal and left the BoS because they felt betrayed by Lyons. Maxson is there because... really, I don't think it's ever fully explained. Apparently he was sent East because of a big political issue going on in the West and they figured he'd be safer in the Capital Wasteland, even if it was on frontier territory. I read the Fallout wiki in my spare time.
I read the Fallout wiki in my spare time.
Same here bro. I know where alot of the unique stuff is now thanks to my selective memory and wiki-browsing.
The fallout wiki is probably the best game wiki out there.
The fallout wiki is probably the best game wiki out there.
UESP.net is first. Fallout Wiki is a close second.
The fallout wiki is probably the best game wiki out there.
I love it, it has just about everything you will ever need to know. [editline]08:40PM[/editline] Also, kill Flick every game, free stuff and no repercussions. Good early on because he's easy. [editline]08:40PM[/editline] And a slight Karma boost too! Plus he's an annoying asshole

Seriously though. do you play mainly RPG's or action games? in there may be your answer. FO1 and 2 are basement games from the Bioware/Black Isle golden age.
Too bad Fallout 1 and 2 cost money, else I'd a played 'em by now.
It's not like they cost a lot
