I hope there is a pump action shotgun in FONV, I wanted one so much in FO3. Hopefully that's what the riot shotgun is.
It'd be good for modders since the majority of FO3 mods with pump action or tubed shotguns had to use the combat shotgun animations which was weird looking.
The animations exist in New Vegas at any rate. One E3 demonstration showed a grenade rifle with an extended capacity upgrade, which turned it into a four round, pump action weapon. I'm sure that these animations could be applied to a different weapon. Speaking of which, I've noticed the lever action animations are a lot smoother in the E3 demonstrations. What really put me off using the hunting rifle and Lincoln's Repeater was how the camera nodded forward and the gun lifted up so you could watch the weapon being operated. It made them a less desirable choice for me in real time combat, especially in heated firefights.
I'm playing the original Fallout right now. I'm at Vault 15 and after completing the Radscorpion and Raider rescue missions I find myself with only 119 days left. I have to sleep to gain full health back. Is this going to be an issue and if so, how do I get more stimpacks?!
I don't think it'll be much of an issue. Also, if you have it patched to the right version I think if you get to the next stage of the quest it takes away the time limit.
Anyone know what's wrong with my game? (Fallout 3 + All expansion packs) I got the RTS mod, but my game keeps crashing. Any fixes? Also, anyone got a list of recommended graphical, gameplay, and addon mods that are all compatible? I don't care if I have to start a new game. Also, they gotta be Steam version compatible.
Hmm, okay. Now I have another issue. I don't know if I finished Vault 15. I'm supposed to get messages saying the cave is collapsed and all. I can't getthe message but I'm not sure if I already got it or not.
SUPPAH KAWAI WASTELAND 4 6.^>^>^>^
I hate shit like that so much, ruins the game imo but then again, I don't have to download it
Do one with the desert camo T-51b
Power armour training included, of course. Thank Fallout 3 and its vast variety of greenish imagespaces for the green tint.
Looks good, but the weapon adjectives are getting progressively sillier
Looks good, but the weapon adjectives are getting progressively sillier
How to make unique items: -Add prefix. -Adjust stats so that it is marginally better. -??? -Profit off exclusive item deals.
Economic! Lightweight! Sturdy! Weathered! Well-traveled!
Mericet you should make an enclave pack.
And the list goes on. I wasn't really thinking about the prefixes, they're just in the spirit of the real pre-order items. You have a point about lightweight though. That isn't the best way to describe a six barrelled heavy weapon. I stand by economic, as the idea is it costs less in time and resources to maintain. The Brotherhood are cheap bastards that way.
A New Vegas gangster pack would be cool, with a reskinned suit with pinstripes and custom 10mm SMG or something
What's better, balckhawk or lincolns repeater?
Lincolns, but I do believe you can't repair it.
What's better, balckhawk or lincolns repeater?
Lincoln's, but it can only be repaired by lever action so unless you have Point Lookout you can't repair it. Go with Backwater Rifle, it's superior to Lincoln's. Blackhawk's a different type of gun anyway.
The repeater animations are obstructive enough to put me off using them for anything but VATS and sneak attacks. I've never used the Blackhawk and haven't used any other scoped .44 magnums enough to weigh in on how good they are in general.
Lincolns, but I do believe you can't repair it.
It can be repaired with hunting rifles, making it a lot easier to fix yourself than the Blackhawk.
It can be repaired with hunting rifles, making it a lot easier to fix yourself than the Blackhawk.
You sure about that? I never tried I guess, the other post says lever actions from PL, but honestly the guns from there are so much more powerful than anything else I just use them.
There's got to be a better name for this suit than "Mobster's Fit". It sounds like a special kind of seizure only suffered by mob underlings. I was going to go for 'Vintage Pre-War Businesswear', but that would be going down the road of adjective silliness again.
I swear your packs are going to be the first mods I download for New Vegas.
The suit should have some charisma bonus or something like an intimidation factor, but overall these are pretty nice
The suit should have some charisma bonus or something like an intimidation factor, but overall these are pretty nice
Apparently there's a new thing in New Vegas called nerve, it affects how well your companions do. The suit should affect that.
t-51b shits
Cool work.
So I'm playing Fallout 3 and doing the Tenpenny Tower quest. Alistair told me to check with the Wellingtons, Susan, Anthony, and Lydia. Here's the problem, I told Ms. Wellington about her husband and Susan. She then goes batshit and kills her husband and Susan. Then I robbed Lydia and Anthony's stores causing them to leave. So now everyone is either dead or missing. How the fuck do I finish this quest without having to open the metro door for the ferals?

I've done it a million times. More than once I've accidentally repaired Lincoln's Repeater with Ol' Painless. Talk to Tenpenny. Here's the guide: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Tenpenny_Tower_%28quest%29
Alright thanks guys. I realized that if they're dead, their opinion counts for fuckall. So I was able to finish the quest on friendly terms with both the ghouls and Tenpenny residents.
