Things I miss from previous Fallout games: Ability to aim for the groin (you all know that was fun, and a useful tactic) and the ability to enter VATS in unarmed/melee combat.

fallout 2 is kind of boring if you play it today with no knowledge of playing it oh so many years ago

I find it amazing and I didn't play fallout 2 when it came out Frustrating as shit early on especially the final part of the temple but after that fallout 2 grew on me, a lot it's now my favorite game ever

Right now I'm trying to rescue smiley the trapper but I have no guns, no armor, no medical supplies and not enough money to get what I need.

You can find a pipe rifle from that abandoned house in the first town.
