The 10mm pistol will be added via mods anyway, as will all preorder bonuses
They're not really worth it

But the feeling of having it on release day is worth it :colbert:
I don't see why you guys are so hyped for New Vegas, It's just a rehashed fallout 3 with a few bells and whistles. It'll feel the same in the end.
I really enjoyed F3, I'll likely enjoy this one just as much, if not more with some of the new features.

Care to explain how Bethesda is a bad game company? I've so far seen that their games are okay at worst, and gleaming gems of quality at best.

I think they dun goofed with Oblivion and Fallout 3. The engine was just unbearably fucking terrible.

Sure, the engine restricted a fuckton of things possible, but the core gameplay is still golden!
GGhhr fose shows me that "A component of the Fallout Script Extender has stopped working" or something like that, anyone knows how to get old version of fose?

i gave up oblivion since obse made shit, now fose is fucking with me too . . .:suicide:
fose.silverlock.org
I think that was the website, typing from memory
Must we have the "NV is just FO3.5" brainfart every page?
It's not "3.5", it's "3".

Content: Any new screenshots of NV?
I consider everything not isometric spinoffs, although they are great games (except BoS). They are just too different to feel like a part of the main series.
It might need W.I.P. tag though, NV might well be a failure. But then again, it's almost the same team... :sigh:

Yeah, but around that core was outright rotten.

It's like going through mounds of dirt in Dwarf fortress to find a pillar of adamantium 220 z levels high.

I consider FO 1 and 2 spinoffs from FO3

I consider this the dumbest attempt at mockery ever made.
There is no old version of fose on silverlock . . . :(

i want a persimist rating D:
I remember watching the Fallout 3 demonstration at E3 a few years back. It looked cool, and at the time I barely knew anything about it. I thought it was just an FPSRPG free roamer. Later I learned all about Fallout, the post apocalypse setting(which I love) and all that. And at the time I barely had money to spend on games, and my PC very much needed upgrading. So at the end of last year I upgraded, and last week FO3 went on sale for 25 bucks. So I bought it. I'm loving it so far.
I understand that Fallouts 1 and 2 are great games. But turn by turn strategy games like that are not my type of game. I'm not saying the first two were bad games, they're just not my type.
I have a question about Fallout 3 though. I bought the Game of the year edition, which includes all the DLC. How far in the game will the DLC missions show up? How will I know if it's a DLC mission or a normal one?
Fallout 3's box art is incredibly badass

Most DLC`s are radio signals, you gotta check them in your pipboy.
Then you hear some massage, like in the Pit, he tells you OMG HALP IM HEAR LOLZ HELP NORTH OF DA SOMETHING LOLZ and you gotta find him.

Fallout New Vegas's box art is even more badass due to that sexy Desert Armor.
Setting every single mod to be a FOMod makes it much easier to install and uninstall them.
You wont have the DLC enabled on the GOTY edition by default. I think the DLCs pop up as soon as you activate them in-game. Open the Fallout 3 launcher and click "Data Files" or whatever and check all the DLCs you wish to activate. Then you'll get radio signals or whatever for them.

Thanks I'll try that.
I really want new vegas but can't preorder without knowing the specs.
Same as Fallout 3.
By the looks of it I don't think the specs will be that different.
I've come to the realization after 60+ hours of Fallout 3 game play that [sp]it has bad voice acting besides the character's dad[/sp]

It has less voice actors than Deus Ex.
Compare the release dates and the size limits of the formats they're shipped in, too.
Really? I don't really think the voice acting is that bad.
James' voice acting makes up for the rest.
