What preorder bonus should I get, I'm torn between the Caravan Pack and the Classic Pack
Classic pack, Vault 13 suits will most likely be rare, but they'll probably have the pre-order armor and weapons on a website like Fallout Nexus on the first or second day of release.

You might get some recreations out of stuff from Fallout 3.
I wish they updated the engine, New Vegas looks very bad in the graphics department. Tho it does look very good in the game play aspect.
It's Bethesda's engine. Black Isle...sorry, Obsidian are under a licence to use that engine for New Vegas. They can fiddle with the gameplay aspects, but they probably can't do much about the engine.
Is there a tweak or some kind of a mod that adds real-time lighting to Fallout 3? It pisses me off that nothing has shadows. I want to see the shadow from a ruined building cast across the wasteland during a sunset damnit
What preorder bonus should I get, I'm torn between the Caravan Pack and the Classic Pack
The Classic Pack sounds like it's going to be useful for longer than the other packs. Shotguns like the one which comes with the Caravan Pack become seriously affected by the damage threshold of anything including and tougher than leather armour. Of course, that might only apply to an unmodded shotgun using regular 20-gauge shells but that still leaves a 10mm pistol as the better weapon straight out of the box, especially as unique weapons can't be modified.
The classic pack seems a bit OP, taking away the dehydration random events.
OP needs to be updated
Updated with what?
I just played Fallout 3, i was actually disappointed quite much. It feels like Oblivion to me, stiff movement and i feel kind of alone and helpless. I'm gonna play Morrowind, no offense.
This has probably been said before but why hasn't the Fallout online website been added to the OP? You can sign up for the beta right now. Heres the link just in case. http://www.fallout-on-line.com/

I mean, I think of Oblivion and Fallout 3 like Half-Life 2 and Portal or TF2, they all run on the same engine and they all feel the same in terms of controls, and they even share some content in some areas, but they're still different games.

I'm going to preorder from Gamestop because it only costs $5 until you go pick it up and we're short on money right now, do I still get the preorder bonus? And what's this about a classic pack?
i feel kind of alone and helpless.
Then it's doing a good job.
Yeah the only option to get the godly card pack Collectors seem to be from EB(Gamestop whatever) here. The first thing I'm doing is shooting the first fucker I see with the promotional trenchcoat gas mask getup. [editline]09:24PM[/editline] Nazi Sheriff of the wasteland :3:
I have been thinking about who first New Vegas character will be. I think I choose him.
Nah I'll make Gus the lovable junkie trying to score big.

its the best movie ever.
I'm probably going to make a Lenin.
Hmm... what would a Nostalgia Critic character be like?
Bearded guy with aviators and some pimp suit.
Bearded guy with aviators and some pimp suit.
But that tag skills and what karma level would he be and who would he join? And what other weapons other than his trademark pistol?
Hmm... what would a Nostalgia Critic character be like?
Make him tag the firearms(because he owns a pistol) , speech(because he talks alot) and science(because he runs a website)
Tag skills would be Small Guns, Speech, and Barter. Karma would probably be neutral, bordering on evil.
Make him tag the firearms(because he owns a pistol) , speech(because he talks alot) and science(because he runs a website)
Actually I think someone else does most of the website stuff and he appeared in Top 11 Nostalgia Critic Fuck-ups. Well.. alot of stuff explodes around him as does his temper so perhaps explosives may be a good tag skill for him?
With Gamebryo? haah waaw
Fallout 3 doesn't have dynamic shadows? Been playing for 2 years and never noticed it... [IMG_thumb]http://pristavkin.ru/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/fallout_3_02.jpg[/IMG_thumb] :psyboom:
It just has shaded textures and some lighting. :sigh:
But there are dynamic shadows indoors right? Like in Oblivion?
