According to the gamestop site, yes.
Gewd. :buddy:
I also enjoyed the variety of the cities in Fallout 1 and 2. While I also enjoyed Fallout 3, I thought it didn't have enough variety, as it only had around 3 actual cities.
Fallout 3 didn't have any proper cities. Either they were shit like Rivet City (a town in an aircraft carrier) or like "big town" (less than ten houses).

I figure this'd be the best to place to ask this. I'm looking for high-res Fallout pictures. Preferably with Vault-Boy. I'm also looking for any 1950s looking high-res advertisements/pictures I'm going to print up some posters to put up at my new house, so I'd really appreciate any help.
weird, i sure felt like the problemsolver NR.1 of the Wasteland. you DID play a role, the fake news about "the kid from 101" helped state that you were renowned. and don't pull the "it didn't feel that way in towns" card, because it sure as hell never did either in the old ones. having a purifier up and running is enough show for me when considering how the whole game went. as for feedback on choices, isn't it enough SEEING the bodies of the NPCs you screwed over and the megaton you took a piss on or the Undercity whichs MR.Handy you hacked to kill them all? The feel of impact hasn't disappeared mate, it's been shifted to emphasize direct consequence instead of good ol' Perlman telling you afterwards. people, open your eyes. it's a damn fine game and a good Action-RPG. and i dare say, it's not very accessible for COD freaks since the shooter element is pure turd. i even play pure VATS, motly due to the oldies though. New Vegas will win you over, the hardcore mode will have all the difficulty you want. but to me, FO1 and 2 were both cakewalks at any difficulty. they're not brainshatteringly hard man. [editline]11:25AM[/editline] yup, FO3 had choices, just not any that impacted the story, that was what i was getting at. MONSTER Deja VU!
If you made your character wrong in F1 or F2 you were pretty much fucked unless you knew what you were doing.
If you made your character wrong in F1 or F2 you were pretty much fucked unless you knew what you were doing.
IMO fallout 3 did a better job at making skills not useless. The only ones that are useless in fallout 3 are barter and unarmed.
If you made your character wrong in F1 or F2 you were pretty much fucked unless you knew what you were doing.
That was one thing that kinda sucked. I remember I tried to play through as a smooth talking pacifist and got annihilated the very first random encounter.
If you made your character wrong in F1 or F2 you were pretty much fucked unless you knew what you were doing.
yup, that's kinda what happens when you're an idiot. many will argue that Fo3 isn't as much a cakewalk as it is a bit overbalanced. I just don't think that it's that much of a weak point in the game.
Fallout 3's weakest point was it's dialogue in my opinion.
Fallout 3's weakest point was it's dialogue in my opinion.
Yeah.
Fallout 3's weakest point was it's dialogue in my opinion.
and its strongest point for me was everhappening random shit and (call me a sicko) the fantastic gore had me laughing manicly the first time i threw a grenade in VATS.
For me, the gore was cool at first but really shit later. Should have used Realmatter.
BTW, what is the best mods for guns and bunkers? Oh, and there's a MW2 mod!
:crying:
BTW, what is the best mods for guns and bunkers? Oh, and there's a MW2 mod!
Just look at the most downloaded list, you will most likely be able to find some awesome bunkers there.
BTW, what is the best mods for guns and bunkers? Oh, and there's a MW2 mod!
Phail. don't mix two very different games. besides, half of facepunch will rage for no reason over that mod.
and there's a MW2 mod!
Yah, lost my last will to install the game...
Yah, lost my last will to install the game...
Fuck it, I say. I'm going to install fallout 3 in a while, and download all the mods that I find appealing.
Phail. don't mix two very different games. besides, half of facepunch will rage for no reason over that mod.
What's so bad about modern warfare 2? It have nice weapons and outfit. What's really so bad about it!!!
Fallout + Mw2 = :Psyboom: [editline]12:25PM[/editline] fail
yup, that's kinda what happens when you're an idiot. many will argue that Fo3 isn't as much a cakewalk as it is a bit overbalanced. I just don't think that it's that much of a weak point in the game.
You say overbalanced; I say it holds your hand. I like Fallout 3 a lot though, and I think it makes a good addition to the fallout world. However, it's just way too easy. And it's not like there are 'useless' skills in F1 or F2. It's that if you make a character who isn't at least a novice in combat in the beginning it will be very hard for you to survive. The thing that F3 improved on was graphical immersion and how you can handle companions.
What's so bad about modern warfare 2? It have nice weapons and outfit. What's really so bad about it!!!
Its a horrible game that should not be mentioned in a Fallout Thread.
What's so bad about modern warfare 2? It have nice weapons and outfit. What's really so bad about it!!!
i don't see a problem with it, but it doesn't belong in fallout. And i DID say that guys like this:
Its a horrible game that should not be mentioned in a Fallout Thread.
would hate it even though he either never played it or just suck at it. the story's great but short. it's a good olde arcadey online shooter, a nice deviant. but i still loathe the fact that some bum some how got the sick idea of mixing Modern Warfare stuff into Post Apocalyptia. it simply won't fail and will be labeled the most hated mod for Fallout because of the narrowminded community and because it simply doesn't fit, ever!
I guess I'm gonna have to get my hands on the first two Fallout games. I've played Fallout 3 and fan opinion seems to run from "so horrible it shouldn't have the Fallout name" to "at least as good as the first two in its own way." I really enjoyed 3, but I'll admit the main story blew just in comparison to other rpgs I've played.
I made my own personal enclave base in the GECK since I couldn't really find a house mod I liked.
Its a horrible game that should not be mentioned in a Fallout Thread.
All it does is add some armor....... Oh, and recommend me some great/awesome gun mods and possibly armor mods as well.

Also anyone else here hoping new vegas will get a mod tool?
