I'm wondering if New Vegas has fixed some of the issues I had with FO3.
Does killing one person in a town, even if you were the only other person in the room, or the only person who had witnessed it, make the entire town go insane and try to kill you? The only time you can kill an innocent person without having 50 people come to get you is when you're out in the wasteland with no one around.
One thing in FO3 that surprises is me, is that turning in the android that ran away results in a loss of a ton of karma. It's a robot, who cares if it has feelings it belongs to the guy who created it. And if you tell the robot, he threatens to kill his owner. I would've let him escape, but when he said he was gonna kill the guy I decided not to. It's not his fault he built a robot that ran away. So I finish the quest and all of the sudden I'm evil. Maybe for quests like that they should just give you no karma or something.
Run away from the town, skip time forward like 2 days, everyones friendly again.
You get a sweet plasma rifle for saving the robot guy though.
although you can get the rifle then hand him in for the rewards from the guy who gave you the quest too, so you end up losing or gaining no karma i think.

Imitation Lightweight Leather Armour. Ready for anyone who plans on buying New Vegas after release, or for those who ordered from an outlet offering a different starter pack.
In a way, yeah
Not consciously. Their bodies took care of it.
So if I activate the Broken Steel DLC before beating the game, once I do beat it, I don't die and can continue the game? Does the DLC force you to join the Brotherhood and all that? Or can you just survive the ending and go out on your own again? But either way once it's all done I can continue the game like normal and continue questing and such, right?

there's an extended "Epilogue" quest chain when you survive the ending that technically makes you part of the Brotherhood but you have no responsibilities so once you do finish up with the Broken Steel questline, you can continue the game like normal.

So the TARDIS was canon after all... (yes, I know it is a mod)

Is that a PC version of Fallout 3 screen shot? The graphics, particularly the light coming through the vent look really good. Maybe it's the same visual quality for the Xbox 360 version, but maybe I don't remember.
I'm surprised anyone would have to ask, but it's the PC version with the graphics cranked up and effects added via the Groovatron.
I find it weird that Liam Neeson is Irish. He doesn't sound Irish at all in Fallout 3 (where he plays the PC's Dad).

It's called acting.

The guy who plays Dr. House is British.

I was not aware of this.

49 days left to New Vegas release.
What would I need to run it on a PC.

The graphics don't look greatly improved from Fallout 3. The requirements should be around the same as Fallout 3, but if I were you I'd wait a bit before pre-ordering so I'd know for sure. Unless you've got a fairly new good gaming pc, then go ahead. If you're graphics card is new, but the rest of your specs are older you might wanna wait a bit.

Dual core CPU, 2 gigs of RAM (1 for XP if you can't get any more RAM), and at least a nvidia 7800GT level card, I suppose.
What do you think they are gonna call the PC in Fallout New Vegas? I mean like how FO3 has The Lone Wanderer and FO has The Vault Dweller.
probably The Courier.
hm, i haven't posted in this thread since may, hi Unidentified, still being a fallout 1/2 elitist?
New vegas is looking pretty nice finally, hard to believe so after how bad the first screenshots were.

On XP, it would run well. Vista and 7 I am doubtful if it will run well.

You seem to care a lot about what people like and don't like, and by the way, I don't really care for Fallout 2, it's no where near as good as the first one, and I stopped playing F2 when I got to [sp]the talking deathclaws[/sp]
I find it mind boggling how Fallout 3 looks nice without any shadows.
The thing is, it doesn't. Interiors look serviceable, but the wasteland looks like shit.
Is there some mods that show weapons you have on your back. (For ex. I carrie combat shotgun and want my sniper rifle to be on my back.)
probably The Courier.
Excuse me while I think of some punchlines.
"Return to sender!"
"One agonizing death, delivered!"

Fallout 3 and New Vegas is like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for casuals, I can't stand everything needing 50 shots to die, any mods to fix that?
I am pretty sure there is a headshot mod on Fallout 3 Nexus, but other then that I do not know.
