I always ask who my teamates want to play and If I do not like the champ I ban it.

Yesterday I won a game where my team just stomped the enemy.
When I got in the lobby I noticed that the best player on the enemy team wasn't the Evelynn with 1142 wins but a level 27 Nasus.

No one is good 100% of the time. People have off days, or are actually shit and have just been carried.

Ezreal initially fed Leblanc mid, he couldn't aim at all. Kills were mostly from late game
I was with Mundo top and managed to kill Lee Sin thrice (it was mostly me, the Mundo threw his cleaver mainly on creeps to last hit)
When I saw Ashe get a Brawler's Glove as the starting item and Ignite as her summoner spell I kind of expected her to be overly aggressive and fail
