It will get better. At 30 lvl you get less leavers since ppl know not to start games when they don't have time and people care about not having leaves,

Annie is super-good, but the learning curve isn't very high. Can initiate with a well-placed Tibbers. B. Veils are a hard counter to Annie, since her stuns are every 4 spell-casts, and to get another stun would require a while more.
Amumu is also very good. Very useful damage and utility in teamfights. Good initiation.
Morgana is a great farmer, and quite a useful support, but not too strong.
Nasus is pretty good, but easily kited, and you need freefarm to be on-par with other Tanky DPSes.
