Danny you should try this as Amumu, my friend plays amumu this way, I'm bad mumu but I still end up doing shitload of stuff with this build:
He always does this in the same order; Jungle mumu, start with cloth etc, do the normal stuff then build the following items:
Revolver
Abyssal Scepter
Wota
- Then build tank.
With rushing this AP and spellvamp gives you incredibly fast jungling and powerful ganking. If I just manage to land my Q and get my combo off, autoattack, red buff, Stun, while tantrum and tears everytime when possible you can deal shitloads of damage.
Also, like he told me, when you gank' dont start with Q, try to run close enough, and stun him when he is running away and you are closer for much better chance for hitting him. Even better if you can get in melee range and get few hits before you stun.

Every time I play nasus I try to do this:
If I have +200 damage on my Q at 20 minutes I am doing fine. Then I try to keep it up, 29x@29min, 34x@34min, and so on. :)

It was only once that end game kicked in I went half AFK because of fight in the background.
