Doran's Ring: -AP (only +12-13 damage) -MP5 (low-ish) -HP -No HP regen Mana Crystal and 2x hp pots: -400 HP healing -200 Mana -Somewhat low numbers -Earlier Catalyst Regrowth and 1x Mana pot: -400 HP regen by 1:20 minute mark, lots more to come, best HP regen -200 Mana -Philo stone super good -Sets back Catalyst by 365 gold as opposed to Doran's Ring -Elesia's Miracle after Deathcap -Faster full build -Same mana as a mana crystal You only have to be somewhat decent at mana conservation.

I get Philostone on everyone with mana, on some occasions I get 2. If game goes really crap, I get 3rd.

I get Philo on every caster.

Nasus uses no mana and the lifesteal he gets on farming his Q is op. Not to mention you are delaying Trinity Force/Aegis/w.e That's like getting a Philo stone on Nunu. He already get's free spells and heals. What's the point of delaying your build even further?
