I'm actually the exact opposite with this. I find Forced Random Weapons to make it hard to get adjusted to any one specific weapon before switching to a completely different one. So I find it harder to do anything stylish due to the sudden switch of playstyles. Probably just me, though.
And Teamplay doesn't seem as frantic and seems to make people generally more tense. In a bad way. Again, though, probably just me.

If the Eq wasn't forced , everybody will end up by running with sawn off/shotgun.I think it's better with random , though it's my opinion

That is something I forgot to mention, so it's kind of a no-win scenario right now. Although they have said that they will definitely tweak it to be more balanced in the near future, so I might wait for that.

I just remember that most of the good ol action halflife servers were most popular with teamplay and forced random weapons.
Just like how teams spawn in relatively randomised locations, randomised weapons add to that 'you never know how you're going to play the next round' feeling. I think it gives a varied edge to the game. Ok not good for strategy.
The same problem occurs in AHL2 that occured in AHL1, people don't realise that this is a more relaxed game with emphasis on fun. People come to the mod thinking its all about competing.
I can't stress enough, its not how many you kill, its how you kill. There's nothing like winning a teamplay round with a badass move whilst everyone but one is spectating.

Mine is Akimbo Beretta + Magnum + Bandolier.
And call me dumb/late but I just realized that you can fire one shell of the handcannon with right click.
You only need one shell to one-hit someone on close distance.
Am I the only one who really likes using the SMG? I've heard people say it's useless, but all you have to do is spray it at head level and you end up getting a ton of headshots.

Akimbo Berettas or Colts + Knives + Silencer or Stealth Slippers or Quick Draw Holster.
My favourie is random. It doesn't get repetitive.

It gets worse when half the people on a server pull them out just after they spawn and promptly spam the damn things at you. Bonus points in rage levels if you round a corner/doorway and they nail you in the face with a knife before you can shoot them enough to kill them.
Ha, this game was pretty awesome, but sometime kids ruin things.
Tried it today, was pretty fun.
But I kept diving without ammo.... Where are those fucking citizens to remind me to reload!!
One complaint I had was how by default you pick up [b]everything you walk by.[/b] It pissed me off because I'd have to take a minute to stand still and drop everything so that my movement speed wasn't greatly impaired, which of course got me killed a lot.

There's an option to make it so that you have to press use to pick up weapons :v:

I hope so, this mod needs a lot of work done. Especially in balancing.
