over g fighters
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Godzilla: Save The Earth Godzilla: Unleashed I'm a big Godzilla fan, but... when the fuck will they ever make a Godzilla game that DOESN'T suck donkey ass? Sure, you have giant monsters fighting, but WHERE'S THE GODDAMN STORY???
Saints Row 2 for PC
Holy fucking agreed. Trying to play co-op with my brother is bawls, fucking cars drive faster than the game loads. TERRIBLE port, and they never bothered fixing the problem. I'll never buy a game from them again because they didn't support it at all. I would also like to add a few games to this list: -Spore (I didn't even buy it, I downloaded it and REGRETTED DOWNLOADING IT. Even for free the game is shit... glad I wasn't one of the suckers who bought this turd) -Left 4 Dead, but ONLY because of the sequel being announced so soon. I hope Valve announces something that makes my purchase worth it, otherwise I won't buy Left 4 Dead 2 until it's down to $25 or less. Not getting fucking ripped off again. -Universal Combat: game was a complete failure on every front -Call of Duty series: terrible series of games, everyone says the multiplayer is great but really, it sucks as hard as counter-strike -Medal of Honor series: thankfully I don't own many titles from this series but they are fucking weak -Battlefield 2142: do I really even need to explain this one? -GTA4: just disappointing all around -Unreal Tournament 3: I loved this whole series until 3. It just doesn't feel right... sort of the red headed step-child nobody likes -Tribes Vengeance: Dear god what the fuck did they do to the Tribes series!? In its own right, this game wasn't very good. Compared to Tribes, it was fucking terrible. -Planetside: This is a difficult one to describe. The game originally was absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't walk away. Totally addicted. One of the best games ever by my count at least. Then they released Core Combat. It forced all kinds of people to fight down in these shitty caverns packed full of godly snipers and mossie campers all trying to farm kills for the mighty BFRs. Losing huge pops to the caves was bad enough, the robots were even worse, but more than any of these two was the damage to the community: gone were the days of teamwork for teamwork's sake: it was all about kills and achieving the mystical BFR Imprint. It changed Planetside from a game of massive forces clashing in organized armor columns, fighter wings, transport drops, etc... into an infantry every-man-for-himself zergfest. Populations sort of recovered during the Reserves program, but once that ended the game began its slow death. I wish I had never played the game because knowing what it once was, compared to what it now is, and the potential the game and the idea it represented had... it makes me sick that some SOE fuckstick could have killed something so amazing with "LOL OMG ROBOTZ"
You want story in a godzilla game? Really?
You want story in a godzilla game? Really?
believe it or not, a lot of Godzilla movies had good storylines. yes, even the ones from the 60's and 70's, the ones that set the stereotype of low-budget sumo-wrestling-in-a-suit that Godzilla is famous for. but the games, it's just "hey, we're aliens. prepare for invasion. we released some monsters." then you fight monsters, then "oh shit, we got beat. I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME, GADG-I mean, GODZILLA! NEXT TIME!" Godzilla: Unleashed was the closest to having a decent storyline, because it had those comic-book-style cutscenes, but it was still a bit dumb. as in, dumber than the storylines for some of those 60's and 70's Godzilla movies I mentioned. oh! here's a new game to add to the list: Postal. The original one. I thought it's be funny and random like Postal 2 (which I love very much), but instead it was just creepy and disturbing. the main menu was creepy, the journal entries at the start of each level was disturbing, and when a person is dying yet not dead, begging for mercy, that was just disturbing. I tried to get far, but at the beginning of the "ghetto" level, I just went "fuck it, I can't take this shit anymore", and pressed the Q button, watching my character blow his brains out. then I quit, but before it went to desktop, I was treated to the credits, with the background being a detailed drawing of gray, broken and rotted corpses floating in the water. good job, RWS. good. job. that said, I still enjoy Postal 2 and Apocalypse Weekend (going to try A Week In Paradise soon), and I can't wait for Postal 3. THOSE were funny, because they weren't just "mind snap, I gon' kill peepl" shooting, it was just the story of some guy's week going bad. "games are bad! they make you mad!" *cut to protesters arming themselves to kill the gaming company*.
Iron Man for PC. A PS2 port... way to go! It had terrible graphics, even for a PS2 game, and there are some great looking PS2 games out there.
Iron Man for PC. A PS2 port... way to go! It had terrible graphics, even for a PS2 game, and there are some great looking PS2 games out there.
... You're not talking about some random shitty game based off the movie are you? If so I won't bother to go any further into discussion as to WHY you would buy such a game.
Urbz: Sims in the City for Xbox Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for Xbox 360 Neither will run on my 360.
Is this disc damaged? Can't imagine why they wouldn't run on your 360
... You're not talking about some random shitty game based off the movie are you? If so I won't bother to go any further into discussion as to WHY you would buy such a game.
I kinda liked it. the first time I played it.
-Left 4 Dead, but ONLY because of the sequel being announced so soon. If you didn't read, they will continue support for L4D. -Call of Duty series: terrible series of games, everyone says the multiplayer is great but really, it sucks as hard as counter-strike Wow, you have some pretty bad tastes. 1, and 4 were great. -Battlefield 2142: do I really even need to explain this one? It wasn't THAT bad, it needs some fixes though.
Just needed to add some input.
Definitely Guild Wars for me It's totally not my kind of mmo, felt like I was playing a single player game instead most of the time; and I had bought it to play an mmo Edit: Oh yeah, Black and White 2. Much worse than GW to me, had absolutely nothing that it promised and I couldn't even finish the boring campaign because massing catapults killed my fps to slideshow level Edit again: Oh oh oh! Ultima IX: Ascension. Absolutely horrible ending to a legendary series. Coincidentally produced after EA bought the company
Call of Duty 4 is the least favorite game I have ever owned. I regret spending 60$ on it when my Halo 3 disk broke. Call of Duty 4 is shit, whoever trades exp with their friend first and gets the p90 first wins. Singleplayer is a joke too, not worth looking at. Thanks for the Disagree(s) idiots, you wanna play me in Halo and lose? Because it takes skill, not a race to get to the top level.
*Sigh* It's people like you who give a good game such a horrible reputation.
Dynasty Warriors 6 - Just DW4 with a new paint job, then shot twice. With an RPG. CoD: WaW - It was TreyArch. SP sucked, and i'm not that big on MP for any game, so i'll leave it at that. =/ Street Fighter 4 - Fucking Akuma. Everywhere. Prototype - Too short and repetitive. And I loved Crysis. Thought it was pretty epic, myself.
Garry's Mod.
Part 2 of my never ending list of games I wish I hadn't bought. Left 4 Dead (Well I didn't buy it, but I wish my friend didn't waste $25 on me) Fallout 3 World of Warcraft
Garry's Mod.
Shit just got serious. [editline]12:56AM[/editline] son
Shit just got serious. [editline]12:56AM[/editline] son
*Loads gun*
Halo 2 (PC)
i'd also love to see what you think a good game is
TeAm fooOOortress classicz becouz you have to conc jump all over the map LOL PRO also TF2 SUX because i cant bunnyhop and score 3 flag in 10 secondz so it gotta sux >:( CnC red alert 3, it wasn't exactly "bad"... But compared to the others (by others I mean, westwood's) this one sucks big time
Is this disc damaged? Can't imagine why they wouldn't run on your 360
The Rainbow 6 disk is, but the Urbz is an Xbox game that they decided not to work for the Xbox360.
use toothpaste to fix it! Rub it in circular motions and then leave it for 5 minutes or so, then wash it off under the tap and leave to dry or dry with a smooth material that won't scratch it! (I used a leather my dad uses to clean his cars with). Trust me this does work I now fix CDs as it such an easy efficient method. you could use something like this to dry it with: http://www.maclife.com/files/u36/0903_SmoothCloth_380.jpg
Halo 2 on the PC because it was such a bad port, it was near unplayable. Crashes everywhere. Enter the Matrix..why did I get it?
Spore Thought this looks great, started playing its alright, reached space age just about ready to throw the game out the window Uber Soldier Really cool graphics, gameplay was shit
Pretty much anything I got for my 360, considering that if I waited, I'd just have gotten them for my PC. :saddowns:
Driv3r, so fucking unfinished..
Spore. That really sucked. Maybe fun for a 3 years old.
Red Faction: Guerilla. After the WHOA SHIT GOES BOOM hype kinda wears off there is nothing else the game can offer. The story is very shallow and everything feels just very very sloppy like for example the moment you join the Red Faction. So this one guy is your brother... ok. They don't really try to make you care about him, it's just The Brother, who then suddenly gets killed. Ok. I tried to care but seriously, it didn't work. So you go on a rampage through 6 sectors but it never really feels like you achieve something. I've liberated 4/5 sectors (Fuck that demilitarized zone, there's nothing there but some artillery) but the EDF don't seem to give a shit. At all. There are no cut scenes that are like "WHOA shit we#re being owned :c wtf do we do we must stop them!!" neither are the EDF trying to reoccupy liberated sectors or defend the sectors which still belong to them. They're just standing around in their checkpoints, waiting to be killed. No motivation to do the missions at all. Then, this Marauder bullshit. So the Marauders are some people that kill shit. I don't know if the game ever explains what they are, as I said, I've only liberated 4 sectors so it might still pull an explanation out its ass but again the game tries to make me care about shit by letting me hear some colonists talking about them being all like "OH GOD THE MARAUDERS? OMG THEYRE SO SCARY HOLE SHIT THEY WILL KILL US ALL WHO WILL DEFEND US" Over and over and over. so uh the Marauders are apparently supposed to be scary. Uh... ok. I joined the Red Faction because the game wanted me to feel mad at the EDF which totally didn't work so I might just accept this bullshit as well and move on. Whatever, let me destroy stuff. And then, the game gets totally illogical at times. Like remember that mission where the EDF are pulling out of Dust and they start shelling the shit out of it with artillery? That was kind of fun, running around, dodging explosions and rescuing people but the moment it became horrendously stupid was when suddenly Marauders started attacking. I mean uh... Hello, this area is being shelled to death and you get blown to bits and you're supposed to be in the Bad Lands sector but you're still trying to mess shit up? Nice. DUMB. Then, the difficulty is messed up. Easy is too easy and Medium is too hard. Enemies spawn behind you. Shamelessly. You think you're safe for a while and ooops, red dots on your radar right behind you. YEAH. SURE. WHY DOESN'T THIS GAME TRY TO BE FAIR JUST ONCE? Then those guerrilla rescue missions become dumber and dumber. It used to be "Go there, free this guy" Ok. Done. Now they send me into heavily fortified areas with millions of people. Sure, I can take a challenge BUT THE PEOPLE I'M SUPPOSED TO RESCUE DO NOT. THEY DIE AND MY MISSION FAILS. THANKS. BULLSHIT. Which also brings me to the Spontaneous Guerrilla Fighters. Ok, they can distract the enemy but they DIE. And once they do, you lose a morale point. So FUCK. I DIDN'T ASK FOR BACK UP IN THE FIRST PLACE SO PACK YOUR SHIT AND LET ME DO MY THING. Whenever Guerrillas join me I either help them (I simply have to in order not to lose a point) or I just abort my mission, get a car and drive away as fast as I can so the game forgets about it. Yeah... Nice idea about that lil helping hand, Volition, but sorry they're more a PLAGUE than HELP. So the only thing this game is good at is the destruction of buildings which is probably its only selling point. The missions are always the same, (go there, blow this up, ty) the story is bland and the gameplay is, when you're not blowing shit up, frustrating and dumb. Worst game I've bought.
