No, I'm pretty sure I came to the right forum. This thread is in the Video Games section and the actual thread is about video games, as well as my post being about video games. Nothing is wrong here, move along.
Left 4 Dead.
Not really regreting buying it, but paying 50 bucks for it.
Ha, I got it for less than that by buying the VALVe Complete Pack.
Cost £50 for ~20 games, including L4D.

Socom Confrontation. I thought it would be like GRAW, but it was more simulation like instead of a game.

Well you're on a forum that is full of valve fans (and also Bethesda fans) and you're shitting on their games, go back to your Halo or whatever where you belong you mean troll :cop:
l4d, really regret dropping 50$ on something that is so repetitive
This.
Wouldn't have been so repetitive if more content had come out.

Spore.
Spent days looking for it and wasted £40 of my own money. Kinda silly really since I could have torrented it.

I've brought so many games I've hated seeing as I buy so many.
Two world was just plain bad in my opinion, I didn't like how they did anything in it, plus I get to hear hilariously bad voice acting.
harvest moon wonderful life (I played the Super Nintendo harvest moon a long time ago and liked it, thought I'd give this a chance, tried it and hated it)
Armored core 4, I've played 2 and 3 and loved them, spent ages on them, but this one just bored the crap out of me, it just seemed so bland.
The MOST horrible one I can think of, Castevania for the ps2, just horrible.

Here we go with Facepunch calling everyone a troll because they don't share the same shitty opinion as everyone else. Let me inform those of you that wish to call me a "troll" as to why I dislike those games...
Team Fortress 2... I've played TF since it was conceived way back in the days on dial up and computers 30x worse than those available nowadays. They changed it and made it a piss easy "pick up and play" game with no real challenge, even in best of the best games.
Fallout 3... Again, I've been playing since Fallout came out and to say that Fallout 3 is a good sequel to the original games, well I would just be lying though my teeth. To put it bluntly, the people who haven't played the original Fallout games would say "go back to NMA".
Oblivion... Yeah, again, since the beginning. They dumbed it down, just like Valve did with TF2, the story had no depth like the previous games did and it all the same shit over and over. There was no need to go out and explore for things, the game pointed you to the exact spot and you could just level your character for the best armour/weapons then get them enchanted without much work. After level 20 you're unstoppable and the game is pointless.
Left 4 Dead... It's a boring mindless shooter, much like Counter-Strike, but without the need for any amount of strategy. It's repetitive and again, boring, even in versus and survival. There is no real challenge, even on expert, if you have the slight bit of aim/brains.

I'd also love to see what you think a good game is
I never really was dissapointed,I always check demos and videos before the real thing.
I buy games only for the PS3.

No, more like they shouldn't be dumbed down because our kids are getting much more stupid and can't grasp things. They also shouldn't remove content so they can get a lower rating so our kids can play it. It's retarded.

How do you even enjoy playing ANY games? It's like your video game experience is you going "Dont like that, dont like that, dont like that, no, no, no, fuck this, fuck that, no, fuck it, this game is horrible because I constantly bitch about every minor detail." Don't worry, if it's any consolation my brother is like you, and I used to laugh at him constantly when he would just sit at his xbox bitching about the shitty aspects of the games he played, to himself.
These are more my dissapointing games. I've never really bought a game and hated it beyond belief.
- Far Cry 2. It was good, but the trailers got everyone so hyped, and when it was released it was just a huge dissapointment. Especially compared to the original.
- BF Bad Company. Come on, seriously. The destrucatble environments got boring very quickly, and it didn't handle or feel like a true BF game. It just felt like a corporate shit out.
- CoD WaW. Singleplayer and the zombie mode was great fun, but the multiplayer didn't live up to CoD4s name at all. Despite it being pretty similar, it just didn't have the same drive you would have in CoD4.
- Left 4 Dead. Now, most great Valve games such as TF2 and Counterstrike have pretty much the same game modes on different maps. The same applied to L4D, but it got boring so quickly. I stopped playing after a week, and now only occasionally play it.
PREDICTION
I reckon the hype and general douchebaggery of the community will make Modern Warfare 2 shit. If it was like, say, TF2 were the community is pretty tightly knit, it'd be so much better. It's just that I don't want a 12 year old screaming down the mic every time he gets a kill.

I think you are waaaaay too picky. Does a game have to be perfect for you to play it? Seriously, what games do you enjoy?
Sonic Unleashed.
I was hoping, wanting to like it for the sake of my childhood hero. But alas, I could not. :frown:
What the hell are you talking about? I LOVED that game!
Lost Planet - Xbox - Utter tripe. No storyline at all, timer that feels 20 years out of place etc.
Resident Evil 5 - Xbox - It's resident evil, again. Nothing new whatsoever. Fail.
DOW Soulstorm - PC - Just..... no
Spore.
fallout 3
Marios time machine - SNES - you fucking talked to people.. FOR THE WHOLE GAME
Driver 3 - xbox - Shit story, shit gameplay, no content whatsoever
Brute Force - xbox - just not my kind of game
F.E.A.R. - pc - meh, again, just not my kind of game. Somewhat dissapointed me.
spore - pc - fuck that shit

I enjoy plenty of games, some of the ones I've been playing recently include TF series up to TF2, Quake up to Q4, Doom up to D3, WoW, Everquest 1-2, and a few Indie games.

I don't have negative posts, just opinions that you don't agree with. A lot of them.

You have negative opinions and you post them. A lot of people seem to agree based on the fact how much they've quoted you.
