Dude, the whole point of this is to avoid needing a person to record the voices, of course having a girl record her voice is way better, but this thread is called "trying to recreate GLaDOS voice with text-to-speech software".
ive got a ding dong and i can do a better glados than u except this is the version of glados that you drunkenly take home from a bar and then YOU get boned

Well then stop criticizing, sit back, and watch as we try to make it sound good.
inflection is more important than spot on recreation source: everyone ever who has done impressions
it sounds as if Glados had a daughter
Caroline - Cave Johnson lovechild?
I think Text Speaker is the product you are looking for. It has the best natural sounding voices I have heard with an selection of male, female, English, British, French and Spanish voices. You can sample these then adjust pitch, and speed along with using the phoneme editor to get the exact sound you want from a voice. -snip- (User was permabanned for this post ("Adbot" - Orkel))
I think the problem right now is that the TTS software keeps cutting off the ends of words. There's no natural lag time between the words, so it ends up too fast and too robotic, unlike the organic robot feel of GLaDoS' voice.

I never quite figured out how to use melodyne. But anyway you are doing a GREAT job on GLaDoS voice, no matter what they say!
