You can just ignore the bandwagon and try it for yourself. I thought it was decent. The Best Gamers review I see everywhere is either satire or the worst review known to man. I don't like posting in threads related to FEZ for obvious reasons but you seem interested, so I'll quote one of my old posts.
"He didn't show any gameplay that wasn't from the first 10 minutes. He only showed one thing after the first level and that was just him complaining about the only meme in the game, which is after you beat the game and unlock first person mode.
He didn't show any points as to why the game sucks other than there's no challenge, no obstacles and that the creator's a dick. Apparently the game is just being pretentious and trying to be art by showing you a 360 view of the level you've just entered; it's not trying to give you an idea of where you're going or anything.
As a platformer, this game is pretty easy, and the creator is a dick; but he's wrong in saying that there aren't any obstacles in the game, there's plenty when you get further in.
The one big puzzle in this game is deciphering the language, which will help you solve a whole bunch of other puzzles. That's what's unique about Fez and why lots of people enjoyed it. It's about the exploration and using the subtle hints to find where you're going next.
If you've played this game a good deal to understand that and still don't like it, that's fine, but that's no reason to shit in every thread relating to Fez. We all know the creator's a dick, but that doesn't effect the gameplay "

Well to be honest I will withdraw that. Steam reset my hours a long time ago, for some reason and they haven't been racking up correctly since. I'll be available to do challenges after today. Firday night work is so much fun :dance:

How well would you recommend Hard Reset? I already have Serious Sam 1 & 2 HD, Shadow Warrior non-redux, Duke Nukem 3D without the expansions, and System Shock 2. I'd rather not drop $6 on a game and two halves unless it's pretty darn good.

extended is the base game + the exile dlc.
Is Hard Reset good?
I thought the Exile DLC for Hard Reset was free?
If so, then isn't normal Hard Reset just Extended Edition?
