Heard this game is pretty crap though, and it doesn't emphasize the sniper role very much. Multiplayer is probably dead as well. Buy or no?
http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/sniper-ghost-warrior no get sniper elite, bit more expensive but a lot better than that game.

I wonder what the first daily deal is going to be that's going to catch my interest, cause so far nothing has managed to even raise an eyebrow.
US:$5 EU:€7,50
I'm tired of what valve is doing in europe with their prices finally I got off my ass and tried sending an email to Doug Lombardi (VP of marketing at valve). I will probably be ignored like all my other attempts but fuck it it's worth a try.
Hello Doug today when I saw the steam daily deal for sniper ghost warrior that costs 7,50 euros for me and later noticed it was 5 dollars for americans I've finally decided it's enough. I'm writing this letter trying to make it right, but I will most likely be ignored. First before I start this I'm just going to say this about the Sniper: Ghost Warrior deal. American Price - 5 Dollars Now as of today 5 dollars is 3,52 euros. What the european price should be - 3,52 euros. Actual european price - 7,50 euros Now I'm paying 3,98 euros more american users, thats 5,65 dollars for you. Now you see I am paying TWICE the price than american users. Don't get me wrong it's alright if you give americans a lower price. But I pay twice as much, really? This may not seem as much to you being a bigshot at valve. Yes sure I CAN afford it, but to be honest. I often buy games in retail stores and from websites that sell keys that you can activate on steam, and people sometimes even pirate games because they are too expensive on steam. I would love to have them on steam because it's the best game service out there and almost everyone uses it. I could write more but then I would just repeat myself over and over and I'm not here to waste your time. Really now, if you would take the prices in europe down to normal again or heck even make everyone use dollars like in the old days. Sales would increase because people would use steam more instead of going to retail stores, using cd key websites and pirating games. Yes there will always be pirates, valve is a company who knows that. But it really would increase your sales if you did. I am also aware that the prices are alot worse in australia, they have to pay 100 australian dollars for a new game that costs around 50/60 us dollars. Which are worth just as much as us dollars. But they have the same prices in stores and not just on steam so thats not your fault. But the same principle works there, if you would lower the steam prices in australia by even 25% or 10% sales would go up the roof. Look, I don't know anything about marketing but I do know for a fact it worked fine when everyone paid the same price in us dollars and you can make this happen. I will probably just be ignored like in my previous attempts to talk to valve about this and hundereds of other peoples attempts. I love valve and your work, but this is outrageous. Peggle is the first decent game on sale so far.
Peggle is worth every penny
As I said, I know its a good game. I frequent it on my ipod and PC.
If no-one has played Peggle and they want to know how good it is first hand then you can download a free version on Steam, here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/3483/.
Really? Sniper Ghost Warrior? Jeez. [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Oh it's Peggle now. Well at least this one is decent.
I hope some better games go on sale
Lets see Dead Space 2, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Portal 2, Fall Out: New Vegas
Lets see Dead Space 2, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Portal 2, Fall Out: New Vegas
Yup, that's a list of video games.
Pretty sure Cities XL online component was shut down last year. Just a heads up.
Yeah it was shutdown. I have played this just before the Open Beta closed and it was a fun alternative to Sims City. I would've bought this if the online wasn't pay-to-play. Basically, if you like Sims City then you'll enjoy this game. It is more complicated than Sims City with working classes, tourism and etc, but if you like that stuff then you should buy it, or try it here.
SimCity*
I don't really like Cities XL, yet I bought XL and 2011. No idea what I was fucking thinking.
